- this video has been a long time coming but I didn't want to put it out till I was sure the strategy worked. I jumped between full zetas and my account so much losing tickets trying to find the best team comp and how to use your abilities. sorry for the weird audio quality for the first half. one of my recording software's was being weird.

This event specifically is so much more nuanced than any other event I can think of. Most of the time it's "Use this comp and this strategy and you'll win every time", but for this one, it really depends on where your mods are and how you use the team. If this wasn't tied to losing Tickets I would actually love this. My current most reliable team uses C3PO even though so many people say don't use him. I like him because confuse keeps Kylo from getting advantage, because otherwise you can't ever crit the guy lol. It's really effective to time the two mass assists using Poe and C3P0 when Kylo doesn't have advantage and has the Vulnerable debuff from Poe. Plus having two supports means that you can very quickly get your units above the 60% threshold for sudden whirlwind again when you use Finn's 2nd special ability. The only core characters I think are the RH Bro's. I've completed it with multiple combinations of other characters, but the strategy changes and success is heavily dependent on mods.
Sorry for long comment it's just this event has been such an annoyance to me and I was hoping my experimenting could help somebody out. Thank you for making this. This is definitely the event that has given me the most trouble of any other.
Thank you for all your videos regarding Rey! All the other tiers worked for me like a charm, but in this one I just lost 2 fights without killing anyone - all toons with full zetas, in the first attempt with BB8 and in the second with my gear XI 7 star Zorii...

I want to thank you for creating this guide. I did have 4 zeta's on Rey, and 1 on RHpoe and RHfinn. I had thrown 8 fights and lost 560 tickets before watching this guide. The mistake I was making was using mind trick on SLKR because I was afraid of losing teammates to his cleave ability. After watching this guide I tried not doing that abd it went so much smoother. Thanks for the video.

Did this with 4* g11 zorii, I’m missing LB zeta, RH F/P zetas, and zorii’s other one. Honestly most zetas but this guide has helped me so much I’m 1/10 for ult now
Hi I've yet to get to this tier, but i was wondering why you don't sudden whirlwind the two troopers before SLKR like in previous videos?
In this tier not only are they beefier but SLKR has his full kit so he ramps faster and will kill you off quickly I tested it a lot doing the same strat as previous tier and SLKR just ramps too fast and it's hard to focus them down when they take a bit more than 1 sudden whirlwind

I tried going for SLKR first once, it didn't go well for me. I guess I can try again, but I think I might need RHF and RHP's zetas. I got 5/6 for GL Rey, and her basic is low priority so I guess I might as well go for those two next.
Were you able to get it? I know RHF zeta is great for keeping taunt up. Which can help a ton
Still no extra zetas on anybody (besides what I have), but I am starting to manage it better. Going for SLKR is working all of a sudden. Must've been bad RNG first time. Though my previous attempt was a serious struggle. Finn and Poe got sniped almost as soon as SLKR did and it was up to the Reys and BB8 to take them down. I struggled against them for around 15-20 minutes just trying to survive lol. @@rabidbeaver1138
I just want to say thank you for the guides. I’m currently 100% success rate from tier 1-5. I’m using REY, JTR, hero bros, & Zorii.
Zetas are 1 on Zorii (Spice Runner), RHF, & Sudden Whirlwind & Wisdom of the Sacred Texts for REY.
REY 510 speed, G12 for Tier 4, R3 for Tier 5. Will be attempting ULT tier but I want to ask.. is R7 req or can I get it done with R5?

With just those 2 zetas it'll be tough at r7 let alone r5 I would say only attempt it if you max out on light side currency otherwise try to get the r7 and galactic legend zeta
Thanks for the speedy reply! I upgraded REY to R5, added the Lifeblood Zeta. (Goal is to follow your advice & push the GL Zeta & R7). If I get to 144 LS Shards, I will attempt ULT tier. 👊🏽

I have a gear 11 Zorri who worked like a charm before ult tier but my first attempt killed one of the resistance bros and Zorri way too quick so I'm a bit worried
What zetas are you rocking on the team?

@@lukethomeret-duran5273 if your zori is dying off too fast with those zetas consider the bb8 way of doing it. I did it with a g12 7 star zori in my testing for this tier and was fine. That extra gear level could be a lot. Also if you want to keep your taunt up more often your next zeta should be rh Finn's. That'll keep pressure off of your other characters.
@@rabidbeaver1138 I just remodded my characters and replaced Zorri with BB8. Rn I'm 4 wins in. Once I finish the ult tier I'll test out Zorri again and let you know

@@lyensden yeah in fact I started doing some testing and got the speeds down for tier 1 for a friend. It's a pretty easy event since they patched sidious. I could whip something up real quick. Especially cause I already have him

Tip,dont use Poes middle abillity, affects TM !
Normally you would be correct and you shouldn't use it on the two troopers but during this tier SLKR is immune to stagger so you should be fine using it

It's a rough event. It took me a lot of testing and trial and error to get it down. Those mods definitely help tho.

R8 rey.with r5 zorii. Rey moded for full health 228k. Win with everyone alive. Everytime. Full focus on slkr. This tier is not easy. Thats for sure. Health on rey is the most important, couse it keeps everyone alive.
Remoded JTR and BB-8… Only have 5 zetas on Rey… Followed this guide, and had no problems.

Im trying to understand how Rey's Sudden Whirlwind works? I can't seem to get the ability to unlock after bringing down SLKR. Anyone able to explain?
A character has be above 60% health then drop below that threshold. So it's not enough for a character to be in the green because that's above 50% health. So hold off on hitting a lifeblood from Rey to bring her down until she has an OI ur 3/4 full health
why can you use rey ultimate? it doesnt show off in game to me
You can't normally I was doing my testing and recording with an account that already had it unlocked hence the reason why I never used it during the event
That is the most annoying tier. That took 3 battles tried zorri but nowhere near enough damage, tried this and lost because JTR was dropping taunt off herself constantly and just barely won the third time because Rey just refused to heal from sudden whirlwind and didnt do damage. This tier is such a pain
100% agreed. Try dropping JTR speed it worked fairly well for me. Tho if you do that the rh Finn zeta is also very helpful
@@rabidbeaver1138 I just used all my zetas to finish Rey lol. But do they really get ability blocked enough for it to help? Or does Rey not being able to use her own abilities count?
@@rabidbeaver1138 and yeah I may need to stick with her garbage mods. First i used GG mods and she's to fast and now she's still a little quick with KRU. Gonna be tough giving her good health but no speed

I used Phat Phils guide for the 1st try. And used your guide for the 2nd run through. Failed both. Just wasted 140 lightside currency on this tier and wasted 60 lightside currency on tier 2. For a total of 200 wasted lightside currency. This blows man. Why is this so hard as one of the first GL's released? She is my 5th GL so Im not new to this. (Currently have JMLS, SEE, SLKR, and JMK) Just under 8M GP (7,958,760 GP). I have everybody's zetas. Rey is above the speed threshhold at 511 speed. I use phatphils comp the first time, which is rey, JTR, Res hero bros, zorri, and this time I used your comp, replacing zorii with BB8. Im not using turn meter removal abilites on SLKR. Finn died pretty early on and it just went downhill from there. I just dont get how this is so hard. Im lost now. No clue what to do.
Honestly the rework of slkr made this event really bad but they never went back to fix it. If you wanna drop your discord id be down to help you out personally if you want
Same issue with an almost identical roster. I just dropped 140 tickets.
Done this too many times, and every round, I’ve lost a person to the point where it just feels rigged and I didn’t even get a turn right at the start of the encounter

@@Ashton_Speaks that's why I made this guide for those without. You can try swapping offense mods for health mods all around on Rey and see if that give you the beefiness you need to finish it. Someone mentioned they were having success with that the other day. I can take a look myself after work and see how well it works

Reys ult match is honestly so easy. I got through tiers 4 and 5 with r6 rey with 2 zetas gl and whirlwind
Ive got r8 Rey modded at kyber level and ive lost 3 so far. Hella cap saying its easy
Idk what to tell you. I only had to watch 1 video for tier 4 and I just kept the strategy. I've only dropped one battle because I wasn't paying attention and my rng was bad. As long as rest of your team has decent mods as well you're fine.

@@rabidbeaver1138 Interesting. Yea idk. I've attempted it 3 times only, but the one time I failed it was due to the adds and they seem fairly easy to take out with the first two whirlwinds.

I saved a lot of time not finishing this video. "You need good mods." I do not have good mods. I do not understand mods. You have higher speed on BB8 and Finn with lower mods than I do on my best toons with maxed out mods, and I do not understand why. I am at 8.8 mil GP and I have 5 relic 8 GL's at around 400 speed, but I do not think any of my non-GL toons are faster than 275 speed. I do not understand mods.
I think that the best video that I know of for an account like yours will be "all in on finn". Just search it up. It's easier than my way but requires a relic c3p0 which I'm sure you have. If you're willing to learn about mods this video should help get you a start. I talk about how to farm and how to slice as well as sort. Hope it helps my friend. Like, I have always needed something that explains it as you would to a child. Farming, leveling, combining, "primary" vs. "secondary", trait synergies, etc.
I feel I have tried everything, but after almost 9 years of playing this game, I still do not have non-GL toons with speed higher than about 275.
It gets so demoralizing seeing YT videos where they say "Yeah, you can see my [toon name] is super slow, his speed is only 375", and I'm sitting here like, "What are you smoking?! That 375 is faster than everyone in my entire 8 mil GP roster!!!"

@@dorianvey6675 I've had video in the tank going over them from the basics. The first time I recorded it it came out as too complex in my taste. I'll see if I can try again and get it right. It might help you and it will hopefully help new and returning players too.
