I am operating a 2009 Foton 404. Getting ready to do my first service since I have owned it (1 year). The oil in the diesel fuel pump needs to be changed have you done this before? Did you have to pump it out or is there a drain plug? Thanks for making an oil change video!
Ive been looking at buying one of these tractors i was wondering how you have found the reliability, parts supply and is there anyone in your area willing to work on them?
Reliability is pretty good because, they are very simple but rough, in 4 years only needed maintenance parts, like filters, fuel lines, orings. I would say, if you cannot work on them yourself or dont have somebody who does it for free, then better choise would be Japanese or south Korean tractors.
About to purchase a 304 jinma... has hydro issues.. supposedly... I be looked at forums and reviews and not one said a thing about hydraulics being an issue.. cross my fingers I'm not waisting my money

In theory the oil filter prefill shortens the time when the engine runs first with low oil pressure, in reality it probably doesn't matter

On my Jinma 254 is an other oil filter on the other side of the Traktor. What is that for?
Most probably that’s the filter for the hydraulic oil circuit.
