    I should add, my sheet said check brake oil, but it actually means power steering fluid… There is no brake oil in the tractor! Good old Chinese translation…

    This was so helpful as well as your other videos on the Auger, Slasher and Back hoe. Thank you very much. I too am located a long way from a service centre and have no experience with Tractors so it has been invaluable watching your videos. Thanks once again !! PS. I own a 75hp version with all the same attachments,

    Thankyou so much for such a great detailed vid. It has helped me so much. I am in the process of first service on my little 25Hp UHI tractor(I have named Margaret). Took me 3 days to get the flamin oil filter off, lol. Determined to do it by myself, as like you said its great way to get to know your tractor. I am almost up to the fuel filter bit nervous. Just wanted to drop in a message of thanks.

    G'day Andrew Thankyou for your video very helpful translating chinenglish for your oil types and Qty's . One other thing to check is these engines well most of them have there own oil in the fuel pump check at the very back of the injector fuel pump for a small dip stick . don't have a service interval for the injector pump oil change if there are lubrication pipes between inj pump and mail oil gallery no service is required . My vt65 victory has 13lt eng oil capacity CD GRADE non turbo + CF for turbo engine 15w/40 foe -10*c to 30*c . My engine book also shows a grease nipple on the Water Pump .🚜

    Lol, service my UHI1004 a couple of months ago. Thought at the time, it'd be good they had done a video like yours then...
    Nice you took time to document it on yours! 🤞👌👏
    Might have missed it...Greasing all nipples?🤔
    Also, the manual was so wrong on oil needs, no engine oil on dipstick after 10L as indicated...Got after sales to send me a new sheet with quantities much closer to requirements. Engine oil needed wasn't 10L but 24L to full mark and after start to fill oil filter too.
    Rear+transmission oil was not 24L but closer to 80L...
    Right quantities allow to have enough to complete service, rather than getting stuck like me over the weekend...😱😉

    Thanks for taking the time on these videos mate. I haven’t yet bought one, but am thinking seriously about it as the work you are doing is similar to what I would need it for. One exception is that I have a 100acre Forrest on my place and do a little bit of logging.
    Do you think your model could handle towing out 3.5m hard wood logs (few hills), loading them onto the mill with the forks and doing a bit of track clean up with the FEL and back blade?

    • @GoingOffGridAus
      @GoingOffGridAus  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No worries mate,
      Towing logs out would be no issue at all, heaps of torque in the lower range gears. Having said that, you would be able to tow many times more weight that the forks would be able to lift.
      I have used my forks to the limit, once you get up around their working limit they still have plenty of power in the hydraulics but you start lifting the rear wheels off the ground (especially because I have no flat ground) you can stop this a bit by connecting the slasher on the rear for extra balance but just keep it in mind, dont plan on lifting logs over 600 - 700 kg too often.
      Track clean up would be no worries. I have done plenty of it 👍

    Some more helpful information that should be in the manual. I knocked off a coolant pipe pushing some scrub (don't know if it was loose to start with), the 75 hP took 14L of coolant to fill it back up and I don't know if it was completely empty to start with.

    • @Andy81ish
      @Andy81ish หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DavidDouglas-sk9yr I used the Red 'NULON Heavy Duty Diesel Coolant' from Supercheap. I started with the 5L premix and then I purchased the Concentrate. The concentrate said to mix it 1:1 but I mixed it 1 part concentrate to 2 parts water (I purchase two 5L distilled water and used those two bottles plus the empty pre-mix bottle to give me 15 L mixed in three 5L bottles of which I used 9 L to re-fill after the 5 L pre-mix). It has been running fine for me since. I have had overheating issues during summer (I have the Cab with the Air Con and I am working in North Qld). I found the issue I had was the very dusty long grass I was slashing clogged up the mesh screen in front of the radiator. I Just watched the temperature sensor and when it got over 80 degrees I would stop the tractor, put my hand under the grill and lift that screen 30 to 50 mm and let it drop. Do that two or three times and all the dust would fall off, get back in the tractor and start it up and within 2 min the temperature dropped back down to 60 degrees or so until it started creeping back up as I worked. Note that I only had this issue while mowing with a flail mower, in very dusty conditions, while disking , using the forklift, auguring holes no overheating issues, though the A/C does struggle.

    Good video. I'll watch all the others. I sincerely hope the company has done some major work on their supplied documentation for the machines since video was made. Incorrectly labelled filler caps, only approximate quantities of oil listed, (9 or 10 litres), substitute oil grades suggested by a mechanic, are concerning. A local, dated info sheet, should be sent out to past customers, with any problems discovered, that are not easily available on their website. The DIY service ability is a great arrangement, with good doco, it would get good star rating.
