I'm glad you've discovered The Waifs. As already mentioned they are an Australian band.
They have a live two CD album "A Brief History" which is one of my all-time favourites. It is more or less a "best of".
The basic Waifs are the two sisters Vicki (harmonica.guitar/vocals) and Donna (guitar/vocals) and Josh Cunningham (guitar/banjo/etc). Josh makes all the instruments he plays.
They write almost every song they sing and there is quite a variety in the topics they cover - it's not all love songs - and the musical style.
I think of their music as "roots "music".
Unfortunately there aren't a lot of videos out there with only one or two songs but any you can find are worthwhile.
e.g. Papa, London Still, Lighthouse, Fisherman's Daughter, Brain Damage etc etc
    There are a few longer videos of 15+ minute. e.g.: live at WomAdelaide 2007. @theBasement; live@FestivalLaunceston 2023.
There is a "live": studio recording of four songs at City Winery New York:

The Waits are Aussie, and WaveAid was a fund raising concert held on Saturday, 29 January 2005, as a means for raising funds for the victims of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake.

By the way, I read some of the comments on the Cold Chisel videos. I hope you're not too put off by some of the idiot comments. The band are good, but some of their fans are not so nice.

@@ThisandThat-JC Pleased to hear it. Sometime try Cold Chisel - Wild Thing (Last Stand)...
Last Stand was their farewell concert in 1983. A motion picture movie was made out of the event. Then try INXS and Jimmy Barnes (Cold Chisel singer) with ''Good Times''.
