Fiverr Review: I Bought Business Naming Services | Is It Worth It? Here's What Happened

- I'm starting a new business but I don't know what to name it. So I'm going to get help from Fiverr. If you've ever struggled with doing certain things in your handmade business, whether you just don't know how or you've been resisting doing it because you just don't enjoy the process, I've always been a firm believer that you should consider hiring it out. I know giving your new business a name is a lot of pressure and if you feel like you're not good with words, like me, that makes this especially hard to do.
Did you know that there are experts out there they're really good at naming things? You can find some of these people on a Fiverr and that's what I'm going to do today. I've been running my own handmade jewelry business at Tiny Hands Jewelry for 14 years now and if you've watched my other video where I talked about how it's a failure, I have this crazy idea to start a totally separate business for my handmade jewelry. I basically want to see if I can start my very first business over from scratch using the right foundations that I now know makes a business successful today.
So, I'm going to create a series of videos of me showing you how I hire help for a lot of different elements of building a business to freelancers on Fiverr to help make this process a lot faster and easier for me. This is the first video of my Fiverr series where I'm going to show you a behind-the-scenes of how I would hire help from Fiverr and I'll show you the kind of quality of work that you can get from there as well as the prices, the process, and I'll also review the work that we get done off of Fiverr. So there are a lot of things that you can get help with from Fiverr including writing product descriptions, getting product photos done whether that's on a white background, lifestyle photos or getting your products photographed on models, getting your Etsy listings SEO optimized and getting your logo done and so much more. These fiverr videos got me excited because I'm terrible at writing, but I need a slogan and brand positioning, but so far despite providing paragraphs of information, links and photos, the people that I paid haven't really "gotten it" and I feel like I'm wasting my money.

Mei, how about "Sprinkle & Glint" instead of "Sprinkle & Wink" (since you don't like "wink")? Or "Fairy Dust Bling"?

Yes, I was thinking "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust."
I like the sprinkle sparkle to but instead of co i would prefer another word. Maybe sprinkle sparkle shop? And i love the charmed by cookie too but would make that charmed by cookies because... plural😂 :) good luck with the new name!

Hi! Sugar Charm Shop is actually a pretty famous handmade polymer clay food miniatures seller so I am not sure that would be the best name. Thanks for the video as always, I always wanted to know a bit about fiverr!

Always a pleasure to discover what you have to say, Mei(: Your keen intellect, experiential knowledge shared and truthfully, your very own charm are beyond! Sprinkle and Wink or Sprinkle Sparkle Co are pretty fab names (ok, other than the negative reference that “wink” plays for you). Both go along with the neural marketing technique that calls to our inherent curiosity (in the greatest part of the human brain, the subconscious), and as such, it’d spur your audience to want to learn more and likely take the action needed in clicking on your website’s link. And once there, we all know that your charm jewelry will tempt buyers. In the regard of tempting the imagination in our marketing, and when we pause to consider the names of some of the greatest businesses ever, we think about their names being at least a bit abstract, and even more, their logos and mottos to which the mind is drawn. Key examples are the Apple, and the Nike Swoosh with “Just Do It,” printed below. Neither speak of computers or athletic footwear, yet both are forever stamped into our minds. When we speak to the subconscious mind, we leave the greatest and lasting message. Most respectfully, it surely seems that a name like Sprinkle Sparkle Co could be perfect, and it also speaks to that nearly immediate mental picture of a treasure chest of glowing gems while also summoning the image of sprinkles on edible treats and instilling a warmly happy sense - your jewelry does all of those things and well beyond(: Thank you, Mei, for sharing messages that make us think!

Sugar charm was so perfect. The first vendor did the best job! Sprinkle makes me think of tinkle. I could never outsource this part of the business because I love word play too much. I was so excited when I finally came up with my business name (Sass Mask).

I have to be honest, I am not feeling that any of these names say Jewelry other than the name that had adorned. I am looking for a business/ youtube channel name also. It's a bit of a struggle. Thanks for posting this video!!

The thing is... when nobody hires those that haven't done any work yet, how are they ever going to get reviews? It's hard to start sharing your work on Fiverr, especially when everybody keeps sticking with those who already had the opportunity to proof themselves.
Most likely those who are new are going to have to start with lower prices to build up their reviews. But if you like someone's style and want to work with them then you totally can!
@@CreativeHiveCo Oh, I know... I worked through Fiverr to build my copywriting/contentwriting business. Went from nothing to 2,5k a month in 6 months, solely on Fiverr. So I know what it takes to build up your portfolio there ;)
But it's sad to hear when people are only chosing based on how many reviews someone has. If everyone does that, nobody gets a chance. I was lucky enough to niche in Dutch on Fiverr, and there aren't a lot of us there. But not everyone is that lucky. And they deserve chances as well.
A big channel like you can promote the little guys as well ;)
Thanks for the video! So nice to see how someone else goes through this process. I spent over a month trying to decide my own business name. It can be so hard, especially now that we need to find and secure domains and socials for our businesses. I liked Suger Charm but I immediately think 'Sugar Jewels' from that, however, the domain sugarjewels.com is already taken (did you have the same idea and snapped it up already)? 😉 I hope so 😁 If not, sugarjewels.co is available. Food for though 😄 Looking forward to the next video!

FYI, I was scrolling through Google for a logo design for my shop and found a company called sugar overkill.com and Sugar Charms was their logo. So, this name may already be taken.
