  • On 2-13-24 Guardian 1 received a LoJack signal coming from a stolen Cadillac Escalade in Kent. Guardian 1 located the vehicle and led officers to it when it stopped at a gas station. The driver returned to the vehicle and drove away at a high rate of speed. Initially, officers did not pursue the vehicle and requested that Guardian 1 keep an eye on it. The suspect then was involved in multiple hit and runs and eventually carjacked one vehicle and then another vehicle shortly after. The suspect led officers on a high speed pursuit until they backed off. Guardian 1 stayed with the vehicle until the driver was taken into custody after crashing into another vehicle. A female who was with the suspect in the Escalade stayed behind at the first car jacking and drove away in the Escalade at a high rate of speed until she rolled it. She was seen by residents who called 911 and she hid near some trees in a creek bed. Guardian 1 located her using its FLIR 380 HDc camera and led officers to arrest the female.

    King County, SPD, and all surrounding areas are so weak. Always calling off pursuits for the “safety of the public”. So what happens? In this case the perps continued to drive recklessly, hit a truck blowing through an intersection, then carjacked an innocent person(s). Watch these videos; almost as pathetic as CHP and SoCal for the leeway they give to criminals. I do admire the Guardian One crew; they are always right on the job. I live in Seattle and when I hear their helicopter overhead I can rest assured SOMEONE is on the case, but calling SPD for help is like pulling teeth.

  • @mikeh8416
    @mikeh8416 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

    Hmmm... Lemme take a couple guesses before I start watching this.
    1. Police were "following" subject in first car and didn't do a pit or intervene because they were going too fast or the perp could have been somehow injured.
    2. This is an area where HONEST citizens aren't allowed to be ARMED while driving to protect themselves, because, the COPS WON'T PROTECT THEM EITHER.
    3. They let the perp CONTINUE to drive and steal cars so they could rack up more charges so they can keep them in jail longer so the prison gets it's funding.
    4. Perp has LONG previous history, but liberal judges gave them LIGHT sentences.
    Let me see if I was right....

    There should be a minimum mandatory sentence for carjacking but there isn't. There are plenty of minimum mandates for drug possessions though. See, the states realize there is no money in carjacking offenses because they know that carjackers dont have any money to start with, but they do know that there is plenty of drug addicts who are good responsible people that have money. There is more money in drug possessions than there is in carjackings, thats why you have the minimum mandatories associated with possession charges. When someone is facing minimum mandatory charges, it gets really expensive for that person
