      nah fuck the police, hope they crash, they wage the war on drugs, (when alcohol is more harmful than the majority of recreationally used drugs) instead of catching rapists and serial killers. The state has no business telling adults what they can and cannot consume, and prohibition just makes violent gangs, cartels, and terrorists rich, while imprisoning otherwise law abiding citizens. furthermore, the societal effects, like increased property crime, vagrancy, etc, are also entirely a result of prohibition too. Largely due to wildly inflated prices in the illegal market due to the risk factor.

    Wow I thought stealing cars was legal in King County. In reality the pursuit probably cost more than the value of the car. Good thing the car owner isn't footing the bill for the recovery. The theif, on the other hand, had 100% equity in the vehicle and should be accountable for the recovery via hard labor....that way he'll know the actual difference between equity and thievery.

      Yeah and some people also claim humans can't see the difference between 1080p and 4k 🙊

    Is that thermal imaging used to look for missing hikers? It seems like that would make it so much easier

      Notice how trash that the camera is seeing through the trees- even at a hot car... they do use FLIR to help aid in search and rescue but unless the person is out in the open.. actually hard to find someone like that.

      Why didn't this show up on the news? There are countless police interactions just like this every day, where no one gets hurt.
      If the news people wanted to help out, they'd show this type of footage every day.

    Thanks, lesson learned, if on a joy ride, when ditching, the driver should also leave out one of the rear doors, to prevent the copter from knowing the driver, will make sure this is widely known

    So,the cost of getting a stolen car is more than the car is worth? This a police department or the military industrial complex?

    I wonder what rf LoJack uses so I could find'em myself. At least know what frequency to monitor.

  • @FurryWrecker911
    @FurryWrecker911 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Oh wow. This explains why some chases have the camera zip-zooping all over the place. You have the monitor way down at your knees and the controls are up on your left thigh. That's not ergonomic at all. Alright, I already had respect for these guys as is because helicopters are not easy to fly from a civilian standpoint, but that just compounds it.

    I saw one of these helicopters flying 700 ft above a neighborhood I was staying at. It was circling some area nearby and eventually it was just gone.

      With some departments a police helicopter is used just like a patrol car. They'll do routine air patrols through out the city. They'll focus on high crime areas and circle for a bit, see if they can see any criminal activities. Then they'll fly off and continue to patrol certain areas of the city.
