    Your quote about narcissism reminds me of covenanting to give all of my time, talents, and energy to the church when I went to the temple. It was never disclosed to me that I’d be doing this. It was assumed that as a member, the church was entitled to this. That part of the temple alone has caused me a lot of mental and emotional anxiety.

      It’s “the law of consecration” and I didn’t even know what I was promising. All I know is that I was a carefree, young adult who did what I was taught to do by going through the temple and then life got serious and boring and I never measured up to the expectations.

    Wish we could send the second class saints book to all the new members the church is baptizing in Africa right now. Think anyone is giving them all the info before joining? I doubt it.

      I would donate to that fund. They SHOULD be given the opportunity for full informed consent.

    Thats gross how the church hides their people. There should be no time frame. I mean, the church even teaches you can't hide your sins from the Lord. The Lord has no statutes of limitations.

    Really let the blackmailing begin, it's why we have statue of limitations so people cannot be blackmailed.

    • @reneenolan3163
      @reneenolan3163 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Question for an attorney, even if the statute of limitations has run out can a victim of SA publicly shame a perpetrator? Say newspaper ad, speaking up in testimony meeting? I realize this could open the door for false allegations but then that could be litigated.

    • @reneenolan3163

      Maybe I cannot threaten to sue or have the perpetrator arrested but I could publicly shame and expose them can’t I?

      So your first worry is about someone being blackmailed and not a kid being assaulted?

    • @DresdenNeustadr
      @DresdenNeustadr หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Ya don’t hold the abuser accountable because… they might be disabused of their money to save their life. I am sure these kids would pay anything now to not have had that abuse at the churches coverup to have not happened. I hope all abuse children get help, know they are loved, know that is not love, can find a way through life after abuse (my sister killed herself because of abuse) and find justice and money from the abuser and anyone that may have aided or abetted in covering it up.

    The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will never protect ANYone involved is SA. This has already been debunked countless times. To the Host, This is not the therapy that you need. You know some things about the workings of the Holy Ghost. You have to Make drawing upon the Power of Jesus Christ your top priority, in order to heal. Don't be deterred by satan, only to become some sad cliche, fulfillment of prophesy. This is Jesus's Church and he did not fail you.
