- Trying SK pistol match special in my vintage Kimber 82G. It was been a while since I have had this one on the range with me. I have been seeing great reviews about sk pistol match special accuray in rifles and decided to try it myself.
I have no idea what got into me to make me hum a few bars of Tennessee Whiskey

Watching the wind make the targets move makes your shooting all the more impressive. Your 4th and 5th groups were top tier! Nice rig and some great shooting, thanks for sharing!
Excellent rifle and setup. The guy behind the trigger not to shabby either.
Thanks Jeff I have to spend some time with this rifle and do some lot testing. It really get's me going to see the older rifles shoot like this.
I use to have a Remington 540X, shot really well, but I would pull my eye off the scope to load it every round. Then my groups would not be close because I did not get my eye positioned correctly on the next shot in the scope. I now have a CZ MTR and a Bergara B14R. Love both of those rifles.
Mr Big Man that is quite a rig. From Ransom to Leupold it's pure sweetness. Good shooting.
I've been eyeing up new 22 rifles but the prices are a little steep, then I take out my Kimber 82G and get the groups you just
shot....................................so, I guess I'll keep my 82G, and just buy more ammo !!
You BETTER NOT get rid of that 82G CH

Nice shooting. After adjusting scope, take a couple shots to settle in the new click setting before going for record.
Most of those stray shots were caused by wind. Excellent combo.

82G is a BEAST a bit on the thick/heavy side lol

My "CZ 457 Long Range" shoots such groups any day with SK Standard Plus
Try more of the SKs if you can find them, Standard Plus or Rifle Match

I have tried them in the Kimber it did not like it.
Great to see You bring that beautiful old girl out to dance...with the 'right partner' she's still beautiful to watch in action...believe it or not, I have an old Mossberg 44us D that will shoot that pistol match special into avg. 3/4 groups @ 100 if the nut behind the trigger is screwed up tight if Ya get my drift !!!

Where did you find the ammo, haven't seen special available anywhere for at least a year?
I see that you are now sitting behind the rifle. When did you start doing that vs shooting from the side of the rifle?
