Good video. I have the 452 Military. Best 22lr rifle I ever had. Shoots any old ammo into an inch or so at 5o yards. Match ammo tighter. Have a 4x-12x on it.
My 457 mtr does the same first shot cold bore can be 1.5" - 2" off target. Played with action bolt torque and found that 18 - 20 in/lbs seems to work best. Luckily I have enough magazines to load up and can shoot a warm up target before going for groups. Maybe try the shims and see if that helps. Thx for sharing the knowledge!
I have three 455 trainers. I would consistently throw a flyer, especially with a cold bore. I glass bedded my primary rifle and it all but eliminated the flyers. I also touched up the crown. I would think that adding a little higher power scope to your rifle and glass betting the action would almost turn it into a competition rifle. Mine consistently shoots in the low 3's and 2's at 50 yards with an occasional group in the 1's.. Still trying to work out what works at 100 yd.

The Pistol Match shot well for me to but man is it slow at 50 yards around 870 fps at 100 it doesn't even list the speed probably can't beat a fat old lady in rubber boots. I've said this before but most anyone with a decent rifle and ammo can shoot well at 50 if you want to be trully frustrated grow a pair and walk it out to 100

EuroOptics had it 2 weeks ago. SK PM is what I use in ARA Factory Outdoors shooting my CZ 457 Varmint Match MTR. Usually 1st or 2nd.

You were sitting on the front sling stud in the rest. I ended up removing them from most of my rifles I shoot with a soft bag rest for that reason.

Slope on the stock is for using the open sights, that's why you need a combe raiser for scopes..👍
