RWS 100 is fine ammo. Back years ago bought direct from CMP an 82G and fitted a decent scope to it. With this gun and ammo I once fired a 10 shot 1.72" group @ 250 yds. Was it a fluke? Maybe or maybe not for I could never find another box from same lot and never have achieved anywhere near that since. Closest yet has been 2.43" with SK Std Plus in the old gold box packaging. The Kimber resides in a closet now and I let my nephews shoot it from time to time. I am more of a peep sight shooter than scope shooter and recently been working with my trusty BSA international MK2 because it is not as finicky with ammo as the Kimber, Anschutz, CZ and other rimfires in my collection. Nice shooting MRG.
Love the rest, tell Josh you got a fan that needs one of those, but afford that high tech equipment right now. Love your content and thanks for your service

This video got me going. Many moons ago I went to a 22 shoot feeling pretty good about it. I had my Dad's old 52 Winchester that we called the tack driver. I lost only to an old guy who had the Kimber you're shooting, he was using Eley Match. I had never heard of Eley until that day. I've come a long way since that day and Dad's old Winchester is the rifle to beat at my local club. I still worry about that old man coming back with that Kimber though. It's all about having a good time and believe me we do. Love your channel and content ❤.
I wonder if the barrel heat causes the wax to float the bullet so when the barrel cools down the bullets shoot a little off really LOVED the energy in this video, that's how I enjoy guns, fun, not bravado!

This 100 yard grouping is tougher than that 50 yd. bench for sure. There are some other dynamics coming into play and I suspect that the barrel lube looses it's lubricity in a shorter amount of time (I mean it gets to be a much higher viscosity, even dry to some extent and it shows more on the 100 than the 50? I'm thinking of fliers (just out of group groupies). Like Jaia says...2X the distance & get 3X the spread! Good analogy but I don't think it holds true across the board, it doesn't hold true with my CZ but when I start a group, I get'er done...no hesitating, (just want that lube to stay slick & fresh) I may start the 100 yard groups now with a 1 shot fouler to avoid that CBS looking shot? I don't know, right now I'm trying to get a decent group from the WWF46D and a Peep & Globe setup...😎👍2

To see your wife on a hospital bed shaking violently not being able to control it after major back surgery is not something I wish on anyone. He has brought us a long way!

Only with the good graces of our Lord Jesus Christ have I managed to get by day after day. You learn to live in the moment and be thankful for even that. I hope she heals up 100% and doesn't have to deal with lingering pain, it can make you crazy & if you are not strong in the Lord...it'll make those around you just as crazy having to listen to all the whining. Marines don't whine! They do their duty...
Those were some very decent 100 yard groups 👍😎 The best 100 yard groups out of my Anschutz 1710 has been with the RWS R100. I’m down to half a brick of R100 right now and anxiously waiting to see it on the shelves again. Waiting for certain 22LR ammo to slowly trickle in, has been somewhat taxing on one’s patience. 🙂

I bought 2 bricks of R100 and R50 two years ago. They told me R100 was hotter for shooting in cold weather. Like polar biathlon. Don’t know if they were blowing smoke.
Lot test your ammo if can. I shoot a Anshutz 1710 w/RWS R50 (lot tested). .177-.2” groups at 100 yards. I haven’t shot any R100. Watch Kenny’s series on 22 accuracy. He goes deep into the weeds in the bullets and the other factors why one lot shoots great and another looks like a shotgun.
@@Dayattherange Several years back I bought 2 cases and I only use them for BR 50/50 matches. If you go to Federals web site you'll see that they still carry it however, it's not currently available which means they have not produced enough to sell. Bass Pro Shop sells Federal Auto Match ammo. I've shot it in my rifle and was satisfied with the groups I got but, as you are aware, all guns shoot differently. I have a custom Lilja barrel and at 100 yards (no wind) I shot 5 shots with Federal auto match under a half inch using a he Vortex Golden Eagle 15-60x52 scope with a Timmy Trigger. At 50 yards it shoots one hole groups all day long.
CH man why me it absolutely does. 😁The stuff is a little on the expensive side and is like finding a leprechaun riding on the back of a unicorn under the rainbow protecting his pot of gold.
Ffs… get/borrow a CZ457 LRP - shoot SK Match Red Box or SK Long Range (yellow box) - OR Eley Match…. I just won my local fly competition that had 16 flies with 16 Fly Hits with 12 headshots… check it out
Andrew you can probably tell I am a CZ guy thru and thru. I got frustrated with my lack of ability to make a decision LOL on a 457 or Bergara. I didn't want to feel like a trader so I started shooting mine and a friends older generation 22's like this 40XB. Hopefully one day I will make a decision lol
Hate to be that guy but you're using your front rest incorrectly. Stop squeezing the back bag and use the speed screw on your front rest to adjust elevation. Also if you're going to use a 3 inch fore end adapter get a 3 inch br bag for the rest. Everything you're doing is so inconsistent. Thats why you're having issues. Don't take it from me I'm only a top 25 in the country br rimfire shooter.

I shoot BR 50/50 and I never use RWS ammo. I use Federal Premium Match. Your groups will be much better.
