which apartment was your favorite?!? 💗💗 edit: apartment tour & reveal in my move in vlog here: th-cam.com/video/3Z9zW3JZaU8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NBLs0Chx7wVNn7vL
That 2nd apartment, noise of restaurant aside - the biggest mistake I made moving from a suburb to a city was living beside a restaurant (shared a backyard with it) one word: PESTS RATS ON RATS ON RATS
My cousin is the Sophia that you meant and she doesn't like Commenting on videos but she said hi and that was a really fun experience meeting you and that she really hopes that she can see you again in the city
ahh love your videos so much!! I really don’t know what apartment you picked haha but I’m excited for your next video! also it’s craaazy how expensive nyc is and how much you’re willing to spend, but I bet it’ll be worth it :))
Hi Katelyn 🙂 You certainly viewed a range of apartments. You vlogged everything really well, it was like we were doing the viewings with you. I'm looking forward to your move in vlog. 🚕
I love this video!!! I am very impressed with the filming and editing, how were you able to get such smooth video footage without bumps or any shaking!?
I thought rent in Texas was bad it’s literally blowing my mind that y’all’s budget is like $2,000 EACH especially for students In Texas for $2,500 you can rent a 4 or 5 bedroom house for that much in TOTAL 🤯
In Texas living 20 miles away from the city center is considered acceptable. You can definitely get a 1BR for $2,000 or less in NYC; it just probably won’t be in the area of Manhattan that everybody wants to live in that’s only a few square miles, although even that’s possible. I personally have a sub-$2K 1BR apartment in lower-Manhattan.
@@MattSezer lol why does everyone think that Texas is just a rural place with no cities? I had an apartment that was literally in the middle of downtown cost $1050 for a 2 bed 2 bath with a laundry room huge rooms walk in closets and big living room a balcony and a decent size kitchen it was 7 minutes from my doorstep to my job. Even a 20 minute drive is nothing. I would also rather invest in land because that’s what holds in value not a house itself so yes while a lot of people in Texas do own land and run cattle and all that there is still small towns and even cites where you are literal minutes from everything you need.
@@The_1995_ I don’t think it’s just rural; I think it’s suburban sprawl without any actual walkable urban areas outside of maybe a few blocks. NYC has ten times the population density of Houston. I remember I was on a quick work trip in Houston, I asked someone at the hotel for a dinner recommendation, and they recommended a place that was 20 miles away like it was nothing. If things are that spread out, I’m sorry, but you’re not really a city.
@@MattSezer 20 miles really is nothing if you are driving they properly recommended that place because it’s a good place to eat like you asked for. You just look at it from a different perspective because you’re used to walking everywhere and being on top of each other so yes maybe in NYC that seems unreasonable but in Texas it’s not. But Texas does have plenty of cites and towns where walking is a complete possibility. Austin,Houston, Dallas even smaller towns where thing are still walkable with restaurants grocery stores boutiques all kinds of things growing up my school was a 10 minute walk from my house It’s different strokes for different folks for you living in NYC might be the dream and the best place to be for me it’s not I want space and land I don’t want to have neighbors so close to me that I can hear their conversations from their living room I don’t want a city, or even a suburban life I want to live in a rural area. I’ve lived in a big cities and I’ve lived in a small town and the city just isn’t for me. It’s just personal preference just how like I said you probably prefer the city.
Love your videos! How do you justify making the roommate who takes the living room w/the flexwall paying more when they have the expense of creating their own closet space?
Great video only thing you forget to mention was how the process was like during the application and what credit score you needed for being able to get approved

I thought rent in Texas was bad it’s literally blowing my mind that y’all’s budget is like $2,000 EACH especially for students In Texas for $2,500 you can rent a 4 or 5 bedroom house for that much in TOTAL 🤯
In Frankfurt you can get a whole house for $4,000😂 New York is really sick. Unfortunately

🚕🚕🚕
You remind me of Kirsten Dunst. First time watching your channel thanks for the information!
Useful to add number of bedroom/bathroom next to Apt #
i love so much your videos 🚕
FIRST!!
Love your videos! How do you justify making the roommate who takes the living room w/the flexwall paying more when they have the expense of creating their own closet space?
we were not sure on how to do that!! but we also didn’t pick that apartment lol
new york seems like a hellhole! 5k to live in a living room with a kitchen the size of a closet
🚕 I think you picked one of the fancy apartments that would need the flexwall - you looked at 2 of them in the same building.

It's September we all need fall decor so excited love u Katelyn 🍂☕🤎🍁❤️😮 love your videos
Omg I love all ❤❤❤
I like the first apartment. I think you should go for it❤
Great video only thing you forget to mention was how the process was like during the application and what credit score you needed for being able to get approved
How much is the security deposit? Does anyone know? Is it apart from the first month rent?
I’m gonna guess one of the two that you filmed back to back!!
Loved it! ❤🚕

I think the that you have to add a Felix wall the 2nd one🚕
Where is your phone case from?!🌸💕
Have you tried looking for townhomes🤔instead as an option
Good luck 💜 🚕 💖
You have a great dad !
So expensive but it's worth it because it's nyc
I know right!!!!
why are so many of these apts a "no" for being far from school?? why even tour them if they are not ideal locations 🤔
To be honest, these apartments look way better than apartments that’s in my city that are cheaper
