Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho invites BT Sport's Jake Humphrey into his living room just two hours after watching his Blues side win their first Premier League title in five years with a 1-0 triumph over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
He tells Jake Humphrey it is 'impossible' to equal Sir Alex Ferguson's record of 13 Premier League titles.

I'm a United fan but gotta admit that José is a genius of a manager and knows how to get the best out of his players, despite his anti-football tactics at times. He's also a very interesting character who brings some flair & arrogance to the Premier League and is a born winner. Congrats Chelsea, as much as I hate to say it but you lot deserved to win the title this season. Well played 🏆

Liverpool fan here, and I have to say there isn't a manager in world football I rate more than Mourinho, it was bitter-sweet when he returned Chelsea. Bitter, because a rival have an invaluable asset in Mourinho, sweet because we have the very best in English football.

The guy is so intelligent. He knows exactly what he is talking about. Passion, desire and motivation are evident in this man just like there are with many other managers in the PL and across the footballing world, but his knowledge, his intelligence, his tactical awareness just make him an incredible manager. He might be dislikeable on occasions especially with his conduct at times, but there is no doubting what a manager this guy is. There is more than one way to win a league and the fact that he's adopted several approaches to win the league this season alone proves what an excellent manager he is. I don't think he's boring, because the only opinions that probably matter to him is that of Chelsea fans and I'm sure they certainly don't think he's boring.

Mourinho is the best coach in the world and the best i have ever seen imo. Im a bayern munich fan but i have to admit it. Hes a born winner and he knows that there is nothing which goes above the team. He takes all the hate from the team to himself, when his club has not a good time. Great Man.

United fan, and I have to admit that Jose is by miles the world's best manager. Anyone who says Pep Guardiola is better than him needs their head checked! Pep has always had the 'easy' job, having the likes of Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Puyol, David Villa, Schweinsteiger, Lahm, Lewandowski, Muller etc etc, all at the peak of their powers. Jose is a tactical genius as well as a mastermind in the transfer market. As long as he stays at Chelsea, they'll always be a yard ahead of everyone else in the league. I can see him winning the Premier League at least another 5/6 times for the next 10 years if he stays that long.

the difference between him and Sir Alex is that Sir Alex NEVER played for a draw. Sure, it wasn't always beautiful football, but when you hear Old Trafford burst into "attack..attack..attack, attack, attack!" chant, United made sure that it was a total chaos inside the opposition box. That was his legacy.

I have a question for the Chelsea fans
When Chelsea were beating teams by 4 or 5 or 6 goals, was the club in the in the semi final stages of the champs league then...I only ask because barca,bayern and madrid do often win big domestically but are almost always eating from the big 4 teams in Europe table.
Last 7 years no club has made it to the semis more than those 3
So why must it be an indictment on those leagues if those clubs beat teams with big scores when England don't even have a semi finalists?
Level of competition is different
Barca & Madrid can consistently beat their opposition by 4 or more goals.
Chelsea has plenty of competition. Sometimes having to grind out a result. Making it harder to compete in Champions League.

I would agree with you if the big 3 in bayern barca and madrid didn't beat teams in Europe by such margins as well...the bpl is overrated because they generally fall short in Europe,even with more money to spend.
In England they play 2 cup competitions maybe it takes a toll but not often managers in England take all competition seriously and will employ bench players for cup games.
When the big 3 stop beating teams In Europe by these mentioned scores then I'd agree with Mourinho in belittling other domestic leagues.

I think you might be talking out of your ass if you sincerely believe that the FA Cup & The League Cup don't take a toll on players. Liverpool are the prime suspect when you refer to English teams not taking all competition seriously. They should've took Champions League serious but instead only focused on winning the Premier League (that went horribly wrong due to injuries & the sale of Suarez in the summer)
Do you honestly think that if Barcelona & Real Madrid had to play Sevilla, Valencia & Altetico Madrid. 4 times each that they would dominate in European comp? Plus Barcelona & Real Madird own 90% of broadcasting rights. There's a HUGE financial gap between Real/Barca & the rest of La Liga.
Chelsea-Arsenal-Man City-Man United-Liverpool-Tottenham-Everton-Southampton
8teams of excellent quality that are only in European Competition. Then there's other clubs who realistically can beat any of the top8teams like Aston Villa, WBA, West Ham & Stoke City. The same cannot be said in La Liga. Villareal beating Real Madrid 2-0 or 0-2?
Malaga beating Barcelona 1-2 or 2-0? Maybe if they slack off as it happens.
If you like simple foward football definitely La Liga takes it they score more goals (albeit most of them are Barcelona & Real Madrid)
If you want varying tactics & defenders actually getting a chance definitely the EPL takes it (albeit there won't be many goals)

L'pool took the CL very seriously but were not up to it tactically...and were outclassed at Anfield despite having the luis suarez money to spend.

Even if he won ten more Premier League titles he didn't do it on the same playing field.. Considering the money spent by Chelsea and the way teams play against them it's not the same pressure as managing and winning with an elite club like Manchester United.
I've read your comment about 10 times trying to get your point to no avail....From what i could gather, in terms of spending Chelsea are 5th in the league...if he wins 10 more titles he statistically/officially becomes the greatest Epl Manager ever surpassing Sir Alex.. Chelsea are 2nd highest in terms of number of Epl titles.....In my books that's enough to call it an Elite Club. As for Mourinho...8 league titles in 12 years in 4 different leagues. Last question, whats the difference in how teams approach Chelsea compared to United or City?...
