*I absolutely love this set **MyBest.Tools** should have upgraded to the 20V sooner. The impact driver is a must have for driving screws; compact and all muscle.*

I just wanna say thanks brother. Because of your video I was able the change the anvil assembly for $20. Instead of spending $150 on a new drill. You're the man 🤜🏾🤛🏾✌🏽

Hey man! just wanted to say thanks a lot for posting this video, it was super helpful in the repair of my dewalt impact gun! I really appreciate you taking the time and my repair was a success! Thanks again!

The chuck spring is dewalt part NO78434. The little steel ball amazon will sell you that does in fact fit is N089668. That ball number is listed black and decker but fits. You might not have to replace the little anvil thing or take apart the whole gun. I just removed the snap ring and the chuck slide itself and that was enough to repair the common broken spring.

Hey Brendon love your vids. FYI I use a mechanics pic to remove the spring. Makes it easier to do.

How do you know if anvil is worn out? I replaced spring that holds ball bearing and bit was still not holding well. Should I now replace anvil?

Is it essential to take the chuck spring out in order to get the gearbox to come apart?

Mine still holds the bit but it just spins won't move would the anvil be the problem then. Tried screwing a bolt and I believe something snapped inside over tighten. Any help is appreciated
