First bring the falling T into position (to look like a T). Then
Press the adequate button to turn the T-vertical and to pass the obstacle, once it reaches the fitting space, press the „other button“ to turn it back. (Other: A/B, clockwise/counter clockwise). Boom, T-Spin!
Building it is easy in a sense... when you see a place for the T, jus cover one square to the side, one line above to make a virtual (or visual) hole for the T.

With all due respect to tetris master Jonas, it really feels like Heather is just so much faster at modern tetris. That said it's also clear watching her that classic tetris is where she learned cus her builds are very much in line with score sensibilities instead of attack sensibilities that come from playing a competitive tetris mode. Basically what im saying is more husbando/waifu Tetris it's fun watching you play.
I've never played an attack style tetris before. I'm slowly realizing that it's not always about the high scoring style of tetris.
@@only1sn1not1taken Line sending VS has been a thing for quite a while, it is the best one for SRS Tetris and has been used for quite a while, such as Tetris 99, Puyo Puyo Tetris, and Tetris Friends.
I think that she played very well, T-Spins, Combos, and Back-to-backs are really what modern is all about.

I started on Tetris Friends Ultra about 10 years ago where most players use a strategy where you only get T spin doubles and Tetris's. It maximizes score in modern tetris games using the least number of lines. I am really sad that it does not adapt well to attack style tetris

If you can T-Spin in Classic at 18 speed, I would think you could play Guideline pretty well, though you might not do some of the insane SRS spins

I can T-Spin when I have to to clean up, but I can't consistently set up T-Spin Doubles or Triples.

Alongside the medal bonus to lines sent, there is an aggro bonus. More attackers = More lines sent. Definitely beneficial to Trip/Tetris/T-Spin clears against people.

Jonas might be better at Tetris 99 though given Joseph's hyper tapping might not translate well into this version.
@@OtKH00 Maybe. I know that Joseph struggles at playing Tetris at lower speeds. When he did the level 1-19 race at CTWC he kept misdropping because he's used to playing at levels 28 & 29 pace.

@@kineticballs77 I can tell youve never watched anyone actually good at modern tetris, cause theyre actually pretty slow. Theyre doing fine because tetris 99 matches people up with other people that have as similar of a skill level as possible. Go check out Wumbo play and youll see what I mean.

After watching a lot of classic tetris and tetris99 (and player the later), you see how they are used to the classic constraint in both of their playstyle ^^ playing way more cautiously from pure 99 players ^^
