My mom had one - she was married in the mid 1960’s. It was a tradition for a bride to have an elaborately feminine nightgown set for her honeymoon, so that she’d feel as lovely then as she did in her wedding dress💖
That long red dress makes me think of the mom on The Partridge Family. Like that could have been her Christmas dress, I'm pretty sure. It's exactly the type of 70's glamorous gown she would've worn.

I have discovered that I will pay up to an EXTRA fiver for a skirt if it has Good Pockets (thrift store prices) if it's a Hell Yeah in every other way...
Did you ever get a chance to get that snag tool? I've got a few things that have snags, and would love to be able to salvage them. Also curious as to if you got the chance to do that thrift flip of the lovely vest :)
