I thrifted a 1985 MN Ren Fest mug tonight and it was $0.35! It’s So Freaking Cute, it’s black and grey and has a unicorn crest on it 🥰. It is definitely one of my favorite finds this year!

Wonderful haul and yes if you are shopping the bins you are truly a hero taking things that are destined to be buried forever! I can’t say what my favorite is because all were very worthy saves! But that first sweater! Amazing!
And also with the bins I always figure that if I buy something and it doesn’t work for me I can give it to someone who I know will love it! So much good stuff ends up thrown away forever 💔 I’ve seen people find Gunne Sax at the bins! That is a dream find for sure!
Can confirm that Sacramento doesn't really get too cold. I was born and raised in Sac and I can only remember one year where it got significantly cold. Like, it was cold enough for snow to fall but it literally melted not long after hitting the ground.

i love the darker tones of some of these clothes, it's cool because i prefer dark blues or greys myself and so i can see some ideas on how to style them, like with that coat or the black lacy sort of sweater. i absolutely loved the outfit with the green dress and black sweater, the belt brought it to another level.
I thrifted that same teal A New Day maxi dress this summer and I agree that the boob section is quite awkward. Loved what you did with the layering and I am definitely taking notes!
So I like the "bin" (basket), the quilt looks so lovely (one day I'll make one myseld, one day...) and the sun belt is a great find. Though I personally like your moon a little bit more. And can never pass a good coat. And if you don't like anything you own and it's still in an acceptable condition there's always reselling 😃

What is the rose stuff behind you? Is that glass in the display cabinet or fabric behind glass? It’s stunning and I couldn’t stop staring at it.
No complaints from me! I myself am in my thirties yet also would have gotten that lovely quilt.
Also, I appreciate that you explained how you lovingly frankensteined the belt and no one would have known you hadn't bought it that way I think! 🤩(pretend the stars are suns 🌞) I could maybe do something reminiscent of that- I spend countless time untangling necklaces, whilst never becoming proactive, maybe I can attempt taking them to the next level and make something special and unique.
