@@ReindeerD Hey, to clarify. The issue with your compliment is that it idolizes her body image and infers that every other body type is less than.
Its the thought that counts but body image issues come from there being a beauty standard of some sort.
The correct compliment would be like "you're so pretty!"
No need to bring anyone else down with a compliment that acts as an insult to anyone else, you see?
As a guy myself, it can be complicated to understand because we (most of us) aren't as hyperconscious about our appearance.

Taking my measurements make me feel so awful. I cry so much but I can't afford to do anything more than cry because my mother is Jamaican. She says if I commit suicide over my weight she won't attend my funeral because I just wasted all the time she took raising me. It sobers me up and I try to exercise now. I now take my measurements as a reminder to exercise. She joins me in exercising occasionally to provide support.
