    I'm sure you probably figured it out but whenever you jump control the break and the throttle and you can control the vehicle. If your RC is gonna nose dive give it throttle and it'll bring the back end down. If it looks like it's gonna flip backwards hit the brake and it will bring the front end down and then you can hit the throttle again and it will level it out.

    I am not sure if you are aware of this or not. When your car is in the air if its nose down give it some gas in the air and the nose will lift ( think 2ch plane ) if the nose is in the air then tap the brakes to level it for landing, you may need a lot of throttle to pick up the front but you will need very little brake to lower the front. Good luck, God bless and have fun.

    I imagine these come with 20 or 25 wt oil in the shocks. Buy some shock oil and put in some 35wt or 40wt oil in the shocks before you jump and it should go so much better. Go 1 or 2 levels stiffer springs in the front as well to lift the front on ramp exit. It is so much easier to hit brakes to bring the nose down than hard gas to bring it up. Seriously, if you can, the shock oil alone will make a huge difference. ( any brand is good, Losi or Associated ) There is too much weight transfer to the rear right now and the oil will slow it down. The proper weight oil in the shocks and then 3000 to 10,000 weight in the diffs, will make such a huge difference is how controllable these cars/trucks are. With essentially open diffs all around, it is hard to put the power where you want it. With the right setup, you can make the rear 60%, the front 40% and that makes driving it so much easier and predictable. I raced in a few National level races in my 15 years, a properly setup cheap car/truck is better than a top dollar crappy setup all the time.

    Definitely throttle control. Would help with picking up the nose. Definitely get beefy bumper. You might be able to make it a little better by adjusting the ESC. I'm wondering if you have the drag brake on a little. That might be making a nosedive something to check out. But as a Yeti driver I know you got to get on the throttle until the last second. Front axles are a must! Super weak spot. Also the center diff has a tendency to slip the gears and becomes a useless paperweight. I posted a video on how to fix that issue with shims.

    Unfortunately, it seems there's been alot of complaints about it! How long and how much have you ran it for? Still no problems cropping up? My concern about this, it might be that you dont really have any long term bashing reviews on some of your rc's not to rain on your parade Nate, but I think a really good basher should be reliable, dependable, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg to just keep running. Seems like a lot of youtubers have ran into alot of problems with this after just a couple of few runs.

    I'm digging the Lasernut! And watching it on the track was cool. I may have to get one. The fuel gauge on the Smart Spektrum rigs??? Yeah, some silly FedEx guy dropped a Gladiator off on my porch today. Impressive rig for stock out of the box, but when I got down to two lights, one blinking? Pulled the bat and stuck your pocket toy on it. 30% left in the tank. Not sure how consistent that will be, but that is as low as I like to run my LiPos. Viewers be warned, going to last light blinking is really to far. Now I have to go get my Flite Test Freedom Fox ready to maiden tomorrow. It came while I was off crawling LoL 🤣!!!

    Hey guys, awesome truck, you should try out the FS racing marauder (if you haven’t already) it’s a 1/10 scale truck from eBay (in other stores too) I recently got it and on stock it’s pretty fast and on High gear speed it’s fast for the type of car

      Is that the one that looks like a desert buggy with the cage top. It's actually a clone of the Seth. Made by Magic. But the Clone comes with all the upgraded parts. Like pillow ball suspension. And some other things. Definitely like over $100 worth of upgrades already on it. That truck is freaking amazing. The Seth is freaking awesome. But if this is the car and talking about it's the Seth. With a bunch of upgrades. Pillow ball suspension is the best I think

    Personal opinion, is the Losi better than the Arrma Typhon 3s? Speed on and off road, bashing, durability

    • @SeleverRyan
      @SeleverRyan 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I own both. In my opinion yes it’s more realistic and durable. On my arrma 3S typhon I always break the arms on it u should expect to buy the rpm arms. The lazernut is about the same speed typhon bit faster. You can ramp it but don’t do flips as it might break the headlights. In durability lazernut all the way. Speed typhon all the way. Bashing depends on what u are doing it for, hope this helps dude!.

    I have a Losi Rock Rey with a Vaterra center diff locker and 500K front diff oil. It has a constant squeak squeak squeak as it's driving. The squeak speeds up and slows down with the motor speed. I have completely pulled it back apart and cleaned out everything and scraped the gears clean but the squeak sound remains. It does not change with load. I tried the motor alone and it is not from that. I also tried hand spinning as much as possible while apart and was unable to replicate by hand. Not spinning fast enough I assume. Any ideas or people I could ask. Have checked some forums but most are a different noise then mine.

    • @SebastianLong
      @SebastianLong 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The technique I use to find a squeak is to squirt WD-40 in the areas I think it might be one at a time. I put a charged battery in it and either take the wheels off or tie it to a secure point with the wheels off the ground. I turn up the throttle trim enough to make the wheels turn with moderate speed and squirt the joints. When you squirt the spot that is squeaking, it will stop. That point then gets the grease or oil. More often than not I've found the bearings in the hubs are the culprit and it's understandable why. They get dirty more than any other bearings and are usually spinning at a higher speed than other bearings. Hope this helps.

      @garettbodel3002 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SebastianLong if you have a Dollar Tree around where you live. They have a knock off WD-40. I grab like four of them every time I go in there. And before and after everyone I spray the bearings in the wheels. The shock and where the differential is on both sides and where the A-Arms connect. Pretty much anything that's a moving Pod give it a shot. After you run give it a quick wit with a tall toothbrush. And then zap it with some more of that WD-40. It really helps my guarantee it. And plus the WD-40 so cheap at the Dollar Tree. You're not wasting a ton of money by spraying your truck before and after every run. Also keeps you from getting rust and shit

      @thisandthat454 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SebastianLong Thanks Lane. Yes I hung the car and slowly disconnected things and also lubricated them as I went to locate the issue. The issue is the bearings in the center hub. These are factory bearings and I have continued to use them for now but I have full intention of upgrading to the Fast Eddie bearings.
