Unfortunately, Biden has deliberately withheld and/or delayed all the necessary weaponry Ukraine has asked for during the past eighteen months. Very grounded and sensible responses here, based on the reality on the ground and not fantasy or falling for Russian propaganda. Very much like General Ben Hodges in his positive view that Ukraine can and will win this war. Send them the F16s and ATACMS ASAP!
You know, it figures you agree and also think Hodges is a worthy commentator. Hodges has not been correct about anything. Well, other than the West should hand over all its supplies to Ukraine....which is grossly a poor strategy and would have been and still remains a dangerous proposition.
Yes do exactly as they did in Afghanistan. They started with the Taliban Fathers and after a little 20 year wait, they ushered in the Taliban Sons. Hodges was apparently central to all this. The Americans, it must be said, were extremely generous. They left all their most recent hardware as gift to the Taliban
Neither side will achieve that, the sky's are far too dangerous for expensive choppers and planes (without nato involvement) right now air defense is too strong on both sides of the conflict. For most pilots it's low and fast, short runs even in groups so if one is shot down they have a possible escape. I don't think the f16s will do much without the right pilots.

Because the war can not be won. Physically impossible despite the false hopes from this ridiculous channel. If Russia senses it is losing they will launch nukes - and then adios to everything. Belarus have been caught playing silly games, have been warned and I doubt they will get a second warning! However, at least 2 Russian mob groups do have access to small nuclear armament, but the likelihood of the 2 mob groups actually using the small ones they've managed to procure is next to nil, as they only felt the need to procure these as a "last stand effort" of defense for themselves. Do you really think Ukraine with the help of Nato weapons from the West will definitely chase the Russians away from the gained territories? Why isn't the West sending its troops to Ukraine to defeat the Russians quicker than to use Ukrainians as cannon fodder? Dont you see that the war is destroying Ukrainians more than its destroying the Russians.
Can you imagine Desert Storm without air superiority.
If we want Ukraine to win, we need to give them to tools.
To be fair, even without the air dominance, the US would’ve rolled over Iraq. Abrams vs. T-72’s was laughable. But your point is well taken. They’ve been fighting handicapped for sure. Quite valiantly.
Im looking for Putin to do something really CREWAL to the civilians that will cause every F-16 in Europe to be flown into Ukraine , pilots, ready or not ! something that will force the West to REALLY take off the gloves and send Ukraine every,Best, NATO weapon to Ukraine !!
The sclerotic and timid Biden administration should not be slow-walking necessary weapons to Ukraine. Unfortunately, Biden has deliberately withheld and/or delayed all the necessary weaponry Ukraine has asked for during the past eighteen months. The glacial pace at which the insipid Biden administration functions, has been to withhold F-16's, Attack Helicopters, Patriot Systems, M1 Abrams and ATACMS long-range missiles since this war began.
Sullivan, Kirby and Milley are the problem, whilst brow-beating the inept Biden into compliance with their appeasement.

Poland should act as Turkiet did when their airspace was voilated by a Russian fighter. "Not an inch" can't just be a catch phrase
I' am of the opinion that NATO airforces are too quick to intersept these incursion, they should sit back and let them fly much further into NATO airspace then intercept and make them land at a pre designated NATO airbase and be taken prisoner or be blown out of the sky with the wreckage landing 20 or more miles inside a NATO countries borders. No amount of propaganda is going to sell anything less than the truth to world.
Next time they will because these Belarusian helicopters flew very low and under the radar. Lukashenko is playing a very dangerous game. Maybe Putin should pull his chain.
Belarus has already provided Poland with helicopter flight tracks proving that the border has not crossed. People like you and this sick general are inflating this topic to ignite a war.

Hamish you are the most sensible commentator on this subject and hope you continue educating us! 🏴
I hear it over and over again. Ukraine needs Air Superiority
@@6foot8jesuspilledpureblood82 when Ukraine was using Soviet aircraft, Russians had to turn off their radar. That's how so many Russian planes were lost. Once NATO planes are used, the radar systems will be back on, Making life more difficult for pilots
Lol 😂
Yes Thankyou very much Hamish 🙏
This is the best explanation of the current conflict I've heard so far. Well executed and thoroughly interesting. Glory to Ukraine.
My PM, Marc Rutte of The Netherlands , waited 3 months before saying he supported Ukraine, he hoped Ukraine would lose. It's disgusting.
Why oh Why are the Americans and Europeans so hesitant in supplying everything the Ukrainians need. This war has to be won by Ukraine who are basically fighting our of the future. They deserve our full support, no conditions.
Because they have been deterred from doing so by Russia's threats of nuclear war.
F16’s are coming. It takes time to train. They’ve already been training. The ATACMS are what’s missing. Biden too scared UKR will use them to attack Russia. What’s the difference between Iranian drones attacking UKR from Russia and US missiles coming from UKR into Russia? Optics only.
Sadly we should just leave it to its natural conclusion, but everyone has to have an enemy, with enough attacks on whatever's russias owned land the push will come and that will be it, because when you beat the guy with the "wipeout" button and nothing to loose? I know id push it no problem
Europe doesn't have anything, because they don't have militaries.
The US is benefitting from this the longer it goes, so why would we end it quickly?
Because the war can not be won. Physically impossible despite the false hopes from this ridiculous channel.
If Russia senses it is losing they will launch nukes - and then adios to everything.
This was just a badly thought out NATO war who thought the Russians were weaker than they are.
As it turns out... NATO is a lot weaker and have run out of weapons to give them.
Regardless of your position,... you'd better hope for peace and/or Russian victory.
Otherwise you'll see nukes flying.
There is no happy ending for Ukraine here.
Thank you for your clear staements. I also wish we would have more courageous political leaders who would provide Ukraine with everything they need to defeat Russia as fast as possible. Also a coalition of warships or at least NATO-warships and fighter-jets should protect the graine ships. This would really save the world and impress Africa which is dependend on this food.
Stand with Ukraine and the free world!
Greetings from Germany.
Slava Ukraini!
If we had courageous political leaders, NATO would have declared a No Fly Zone over Ukraine, and attacked any Russian aircraft and air defences in Ukraine, back in 2022.
Leaders should be not only brave, but also smart. While Ukrainian leaders demonstrate courage in killing their citizens, Western leaders demonstrate stupidity in supporting this policy.
"I'd like to see the UN get out of its ivory tower and actually do something instead of talking about it." Hear! Hear! Been shouting this to the walls for 500+ days.
The UN can't do anything because of Russia's (and China's) power to veto any proposed UN Security Council Resolution.
I strongly suspect that NATO members are awaiting the wrong move by Russia or Belarus to give them the excuse they need, not going to happen with the UK or the USA but it is likely with Poland mainly but also with Lithuania and Latvia, once it does then NATO will have to back them up! Belarus have been caught playing silly games, have been warned and I doubt they will get a second warning! Howeve that does not negate the fact that if Ukraine had everythig they needed now the war would be over so very much sooner, and in the long run cheaper for the NATO members that are currently supporting Ukraine.
The point of the UN is to talk.

We need Grain Convoys protected by NATO Warships
Or simply NATO should insure grain ships. Insurance might be the main sticking point.
NATO should enter the black sea and sink every Russian ship and threaten terrorist Russia with nuclear obliteration.

there should be more pressure to stop Putin blocking export Ukrainian grain. We shouldn´t just watch this. He destroyed a port in Izmail today (on river Danube). When will they get the air support
Driving world grain prices up benefits the US massively.
Why would we stop it?
If NATO countries have blocked the supply of Russian grain, which is three times more than Ukrainian, why should Russia, which is at war with Ukraine, allow it to trade grain? Any other country in Russia's place would have done the same.
And Ukraine needs to be able to hit military targets in Russia. Or Russia will continue to launch missiles towards civilians even after they are kicked out of Ukraine ....
I am awaiting news of homemade Ukrainian cruise missiles being used both on the illegally held Ukrainian lands and the Russian homelands, Moscow is not safe now and will be even more unsafe the longer this "special military aberation" continues. In a way I hope Belarus mis-calculates and Poland roles over them or they close the Sulwaki gap which they are entitled to under the treaty they have. Realistically Russia can't do anything about it and they will have to take forces away from the front with Ukraine. Russia doesn't have the manpower or equipment to open up another front.
I’d love to see China and Japan taking out chunks from Russia… They can barely keep one front, let alone three.

@18:19 Great informative speech and I agree with him almost entirely. However, he stated that he doesn't think nukes are in Belarus anyway." Well.... for those of us in or with experience in the Intelligence Services, he'd be incorrect to believe that no nukes of any kind are in Belarus. Let's just say there's definitely evidence of it, except that Lukashenko does NOT have any access to them being used. That's the actual caveat. However, at least 2 Russian mob groups do have access to small nuclear armament, but the likelihood of the 2 mob groups actually using the small ones they've managed to procure is next to nil, as they only felt the need to procure these as a "last stand effort" of defense for themselves. Anyway, great assessment overall. Much appreciated.

The Australian F18 might be a better choice as they have a much more robust landing gear as opposed to the F16, being designed for carrier operations. The Australian aircraft have never been used in a carrier role so the air frames should be in much better condition, the Finish air force operates the F18 off airfield the same as the the Swedish Gripen which would also be a good fit for Ukraine given the state of their air fields. The F16 has got numbers available but is high maintenance and not I think the best option for Ukraine but I guess they will take what they can get, I agree they should have had aircraft and ATACMS last year but for the dithering cowardice of our so called leaders. Not likely. It's definitely a deliberate provocation. I suspect Putin is putting pressure on Lukashenko to cooperate - probably by threatening that otherwise Wagner troops will depose him and install someone more willing to take orders from Moscow.
Or Russia is just checking that NATO will still go to any lengths and suffer any humiliation to stay out of this war. Now they know Belarus is safe they can concentrate their forces in Ukraine. The continuation of Ukraine's suffering is a direct result of Europe's collective cowardice in the face of Russian aggression.
