I love how the Russian mayor said "all drones were shot down" and "air defense did its work" while he was staring into the ground. The two other dudes around him said nothing. Just blind stare. The blast made 2.8 on the Richter scale and could be seen from space for God sake. And you could hear the explosions in the back while he was rambling. These Russian dudes takes comedy to another level

The Russian air defences worked perfectly - Russian missiles destroyed every single Ukrainian drone used in the attack! They achieved this impressive 100% destruction rate via a new strategy of leaving the missiles on the ground at the target location and letting the drones come to them instead of using outdated strategies like actually launching the missiles to try to destroy the drones in the air...

Russia is an embarrassment, we were told it was a superpower; it should have been able to overwhelm Ukraine in a matter of days, using heavy bombers, fighters taking out strategic positions along mass tank and artillery attacks. It`s airforce has been next to useless, its tanks and millitary vehicles old and out of date, its navy running away and hiding; even the army is mostly conscripts, boys, old men and mercernaries. To think, for decades, were were terrified of this clown show rolling across Europe and overpowering us.

I don't think Ukraine had the ability to operate or maintain such things, which were doubtless in a poor state of repair as it was. For a long time, even maintaining a competent armored or infantry force was beyond them. Also, Ukraine itself had a say in the matter: they were not "made" to do anything. If Russia was able of making, for example, more state of the art tanks then why haven't they been doing it already? The old Soviet rust buckets they are pulling out of storage yards are designed to withstand modern weapons.

To the Russian post previous to this one, please let anyone you have communication with within the Russian federation, please tell them that they would be better off leaving just as you have should the government not retreat. Population shall plummet and Putin will be preventing people from leaving and maybe regressing to the old ways with communism and all. If this happens the federation will be in dire straights as far as access to western goods not only because of sanctions but the value of the Ruble. The government is having a hard time accessing material to keep the machines coming off the lines. The reason why Russia is continuing to advanced isn't because Kursk was effective enough. It's because Ukraine fighters have been given orders to preserve their LIVES first and give ground instead of holding it to the last man. It's a change in strategy. We can wee this is true because recruiting has gone WAY up (in just volunteering) for Ukraine and they are extending the training period to give these recruits more skill in shooting and first aid. The fact that they think they have that time MEANS this is a strategic effect. The territory that Russia is gaining is useless.. The strikes again the oil industry by Ukraine drones is doing REAL damage to their economy.

Putin is an extreme narcissist/psychopath and will sacrifice anything and everything (i.e. Russia and the Russians) to achieve his goals and will always do everything to look like a good tsar and leader. He will blame others for all his failures - his subordinates (he sends them to harsh labor camps/prisons) and, of course, he accuses other countries of everything bad. He will never admit his mistake and guilt. Psychopathic dictators are unable to admit their mistakes and withdraw from the war. It would be a terrible slander for Putin - he would rather commit suicide than admit that this war was a mistake. He will sacrifice everything and everyone for as long as he can and as long as he has someone with what to continue this war.
Only his entourage and the oligarchs can get rid of him - probably by killing him.
Russians as a society will not do anything because they believe in their tsar. A society that does not know what democracy is will do nothing - they will probably only replace Putin with another dictator. This is how Russia has functioned for centuries and this is how it has always been there.
I recommend reading the book "Letters from Russia. Russia in 1839.” Author: Astolphe de Custine wrote, for example: 'This society of automats/robots is like half a game of chess, because one man moves all the pieces, and the invisible opponent is humanity. Everyone here moves and breathes only with the emperor's permission or at his command, so everyone is gloomy and restrained: silence presides over life and paralyzes it." Almost 200 years have passed, and Russia and Russians are still the same. Nothing has changed.

For me as an ordinary citizen of the EU, it is difficult to understand how Russia can produce so much weapons, despite the fact that they are changing their economic policy to the needs of the war, they only have a GDP on the same level as Italy. Against this stands the entire EU and US GDP. It should not be such a big sacrifice to support Ukraine with sufficient resources if they have a sincere ambition to end this war. The further from the front line, the easier it should be for neighboring countries to dispose of their existing weapons resources, without risking their own security.

I was a western believer of Western weapon supremacy over Russian as a from Philippines but as the war in Ukraine unfolding---my conviction started to fade away as the US/ NATO game changer weapons turned out did not hold to their game changer records instead the Russian easily destroyed them resulting to Ukranian now being routed by Russian army as their best Western air defense weapons were destroyed easily or jammed just like an old, antiquated--I would say Vietnam era level of technologies
