    I really like the contrast of the ceiling to the white cabinetry. Everything looks so clean, open, uncluttered, modern.

    Build looks fantastic! Time for a fancy van tour video with lots of drone shots and B roll for a lot of views! Seriously though it is a great van build and I loved following along since the beginning.

      @@RichBuilt Rich - a couple things i may have missed: how does it handle? 2) how is it for road noise/over bumps, etc. 3) tow capacity?

    • @RichBuilt
      @RichBuilt  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jmm1000 Hyey Jmm1000, 1) After the suspension install along with the larger tires, the van handles much better through long sweeping turns. Noticably less body roll and swaying movement in general. 2). Road noise is none existent but gas mileage has definitely been impacted by 3ga or so. 3) I'm not sure how the buildout total weight has impacted the tow capacity but I'm sure it has. I wouldn't want to tow anything larger than a small compact car at this point.

    Hi Rich Love the way you built the bed. I am also in Bay Area, could you share where could I get the aluminum deck for the bed build and also approximate cost? Thanks.

    Yess! I've been waiting for this update. It looks amazing. And I'm stealing many ideas from you for my own build, so thank you :D
    Question - how are you powering your AC stuff (microwave, 120v outlets) off of the Bluetti? I didn't see any plugs coming out of the AC outputs on the device.. or are they just not plugged in yet?

    • @RichBuilt
      @RichBuilt  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Dustin - Yes you're correct, I didn't plug them in yet, but they were all powered through the AC200P.

    Hey Rich! Nice to see the progress with your van! It's got such a clean look. Can you remind us what you used for your wall material? We're just finishing our build but still need to finish our doors. Looks like the material you used is nice and thin and could maybe be a good option.

    Good to see a video of yours again. The van looks great! Can you specify the cabinet hinges you used? It appears they attached directly to the 1010 8020 T-slot. Will those same hinges work for the upper cabinets?

    • @RichBuilt
      @RichBuilt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Jeff - Yup I used the same hinges from the cambinets. You will still need to enlarge the opening for the bolt just slightly. I used a drill to do this but be careful of it binding and spining the hings in your hand. Try to use a vice or table clamps if you can.

    • @jeffsteinmetz7188
      @jeffsteinmetz7188 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RichBuilt Thanks for the info on the how. Did you specify those hinges in a different video? All my cabinets upper and lower are 1010 8020, so If I can I would prefer to avoid re-inventing the wheel. Good luck on the sale of your van! Thanks for the help!

    Hey Rich, thanks for posting this update. I’ve also got a Ford Transit, a 2022 AWD Mid roof version and I’m also running power with a Bluetti AC 200. I am having intermittent troubles with the van’s sensors and the dealer has told me that’s because I am running my Bluetti off the 12V DC outlet. Have you noticed any sensor troubles when you charge your battery via the DC outlet?

    • @RichBuilt
      @RichBuilt  ปีที่แล้ว

      That sounds like they don't know what they're talking about. I'm sure you've removed the AC200 and tested if it still has those issues? Anyways I never encountered those issues with mine.

    • @ronsanderson99
      @ronsanderson99 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RichBuilt yup I have those issues when I’ve removed the Bluetti, but with them being intermittent it’s hard to be certain…thanks for the feedback!

    • @ronsanderson99
      @ronsanderson99 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@RichBuiltHey Rich...further to my earlier question, I have followed your electrical plan and purchased the Bluetti AC200P for my Ford Transit build. I recharge the Bluetti battery via the 12V DC plug at the rear of the van. And, I have used this setup for the past year. However, I find that I can only recharge the battery at a rate of 100W and it isn't sufficient recharging for sustained usage over a 2-3 week vacation. As a result, I have had to deploy my portable solar panels nearly every day, while on vacation, to recharge the battery and I find this fairly annoying and time consuming. I am now contemplating using the Bluetti DC Charging Enhancer which provides up to 500W additional supply via the AC input on the Bluetti battery and by connecting the Charge Enhancer directly to my auxiliary van battery/alternator. I would rather have this reliable supply than continually deploy my portable solar panels. Have you had any supply constraints from your 12V DC setup or did you eventually find a better solution?

    Looks great. You did a really nice job with your build.
    I am interested in the VC lift, but wondering how often does the front strut slam at full extension on rebound since the strut is sitting lower in the stroke with the lift?

    • @RichBuilt
      @RichBuilt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you - I've only experienced the suspension slam when I first installed it and went through a speed bump a bit fast. Other than that, it doesnt slam with normal driving conditions or trail riding.

    Looks good man! I'm curious how the bed works and gets stowed away with the mattress on top. I'm assuming there will be a cushion for the bench as well?

    • @RichBuilt
      @RichBuilt  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Tyler - The mattress will need to be a removable 3-piece type. Two will go on the left side when folded while the other will remain on the side where the plumbing is. And Yes, cushions could be added at the bench area.

    Did you replace the Amazing Auto swivel seats with another brand? If not, after a year's use, have they gotten easier to swivel?
    Congrats on your progress! Pretty exciting. I'll just be starting mine next month when the van I ordered 10/21 finally arrives.

    • @RichBuilt
      @RichBuilt  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you and congrats on your upcoming build - I did not replace the amazing auto swivel seats. I'd say it only got slightly easier, but not by much. I figured this is the trade off since if it was loose it may rattle while driving.

    • @Kayte...
      @Kayte... 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate it.
      Far Out Ride did a review of 4 swivel seats and this one came in second after the scopema. Probably would have tied scopema if it weren't for the difficulty in swiveling the seat.
      I still can't justify the almost twice the price of one scopema seat. Maybe I'll wish I had but maybe by now AA has improved on their swivel.
      I'll do like you recommended and release the lever half way and swivel with 2 hands.
      Best wishes on your journey. 💚☮️
