you should’ve included the moment just before we see Luke building the tent, where Lorelai watched Rory sleep and weeps, because it’s Rory’s two parents watching their daughter go and trying to deal with it, staying up in the night for her. Those scenes together make me cry.

This show has No raw obscenity, profanity, raunch blatant politics, mainstream porn sex, Nudity. Depravity and you feel good not ashamed and depressed . Kirk is quirky lovable and hilarious This is the pg -13 version of the Andy Griffith show.
Not that it's not nice, but the things people worry about, while there's so much violence, racism, sexism, etc. It's why the Bible Belt has the highest teen pregnancy rates and murder rates.
Such a missed opportunity not to hire s7 writers for the sequel, instead of the vengeful original creator. This show had a fan base that was mostly looking for comfort tv.
