I Bought My Dream Truck - 1985 Volkswagen Syncro Doka Overview

Finally got my hands on my dream truck. Here's a quick overview of what I am starting with. I am planning on making this gas power and electric powered. A hybrid you may call it. Plans and details for that crazy engineering challenge near the end of the video.

AWESOME! I absolutely love the T3 DoKa trucks since I first saw them in the early 90s. I am really looking forward to seeing the progress on this project. I kick myself everyday for not buying it when I had a chance to get an actual TriStar.

Thanks! I’m now just waiting to find a good deal on a crashed electric motorcycle. However, Tesla motors are starting to become relatively affordable…. This truck might end up with a Tesla front drive unit!

Ditch that engine it’s rubbish and go Subaru , get in touch with subarugears here in Australia pretty sure they do an awd kit for a t3 using Subaru parts
