    Akhi.... I feel you.
I'm an white American convert and get treated like I am crap in many Masjids in America because I don't conform to their way of Islam and belief system. Some Muslims take their tribal, traditional culture and mix it with Islam and when you question them on they become irate and won't speak to you alhamdulillah. Sadly I had to travel to North Africa and Middle East to get treated fairly.

+PanAfrican - the Pakistani people treat me good. Afghan & Indian not so much. Arabs in America is a hit a miss. Bosnians, Russians (Chechnya & Dagestani) Albanians and people from KosovA treat me fine. Somali brothers cool but real blunt and straight to the point which I appreciate. Young Ethiopians cool, older ones horrible. Eritrea brothers so far, all bad. That's all I can remember off the top of my head.

There is a lot of arrogant muslims out there who do not really know thier relegion and they just treat others bad, thinking they have the higher statues just because they can speak Arabic and was born Muslim, Just ignore those people and treat whats bad with good and smile, cause its sunnah ;D

Well, i never met them but, i agree the purpose of Islam is not to unclothe you of your culture and traditions but, to worship Allah alone. When i meet non-arab muslims I don’t see any difference to be honest and i don’t see people discriminate them except, of course, an ignorant of Islam. They (ignorants), sometimes (but this is only to arab blacks) utter rubbish things like you are a slave or go back to nigeria. People will say these bad things they said worse to the prophets and even worse to Allah so this is not new of course we have to do Amr bil Maroof wa Nahi ‘anil Munkar (Enjoining the right/honorable and forbidding the wrong/dishonorable).

    What Islam says:
{O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)}...[Quran..sura49/Aya13]
“O people, your Lord is one and your father Adam is one. There is no virtue of an Arab over a foreigner nor a foreigner over an Arab, and neither white skin over black skin nor black skin over white skin, except by righteousness. Have I not delivered the message?” They said, “The Messenger of Allah has delivered the message.”

Growing up as a Somali, I can attest to the views we've had about the umma, that were of other nationals, if not similar, perhaps worse than what this brother has experienced. I'm also guilty of adopting this xenophobia or a better-than or superior feeling towards other Muslims, as well as non-believers. Being a Muslim doesn’t mean we are an angels. Good and bad people are everywhere and in every religion. Islam teaches us how to treat others with goodness, dignity and respect and behave well and have the best character among all believers. So that is not an easy task to do otherwise it would be easy to enter Jannah! You will be tested and from the most close people to you so don’t lose you character just because others don’t do good to you. It’s not easy but always try. Show them that this is the real islam and the real believer how he/she should be. As long we are good god will send us good people in our path and if not then it’s a test that we should pass!

I try to make excuses for some and just blame myself for maybe talking too low or not pronouncing something correctly. Alhamdulilah and will continue to be inshAllah. Only way that I found this video is because I typed in “what it’s like being a black Muslim revert. I wanted to see if anyone else goes home after their Salah or making du’a and just silently cries to themselves. Just wanting to truly be excepted and the community isn’t as welcoming as you thought it’d be. Please stay strong Muslims and Muslimas. May Allah (SWT) make it easy for us. This is a very interesting video. One thing i will say is the western culture slowly moves to the east. My brother sells fragrance oil and he was speaking to a brother he knew from california who also was in the fragrance oil business that moved back to mecca. This brother prays fajr right where the khaba is Alhumdulillah. My brother explains to him how he would like to make hidra and move to saudi arabia to get closer to Allah. Long story short he says to to my brother "brother trust me my iman was better in america than it is here". Im not saying we western muslims are better but maybe (Allah knows best) it's a matter of seeing the fitna right in front of our eyes in the west that makes us buckle down in our dean more because of fear of Allah. And maybe the brother went back home and could see the difference in character possibly. Because you have yo understand here in the US the muslim ethnicities are much more diverse. Than again Allah knows best.

MOHAMMED CLAIMED TO BE A WARNER ONLY FOR ARABIA
      By
      ABU SALAM
In this paper I am not dealing with the truth or falsehood of Mohammed's claim to prophethood. I will only demonstrate here that according to the Qur'an Mohammed is a Warner only for Arabia. If therefore this claim was true he was a prophet only for Arabia and if this claim was false he was not, but ascribing universality to Mohammed and the Quran is to exceed the claim of the Quran itself.
Following are my reasons supported by Quranic verses (see notes 1,2 and 3) whose translation is in bold:
"(Mohammed) You are only a Warner and for every nation there is a guide." (13:7)
The principle given by the Quran here proves that as per his own standards Mohammed can only be a guide for his nation i.e. Arabs.
"And we have sent no messenger but with the language of his people, that he might make (the message) clear for them." (14:4)
This principle also proves that as per his own standards Mohammed can only be a guide for Arabic speaking people.
"He is (Allah) who has raised among the unlettered people a messenger from among themselves" (62:2)
So Mohammed claims only to be a prophet for "Umeen" the unlettered people of Arabia.
It is also interesting to note here that "Umeen" could also mean people of Makkah (note-4).
"And this (Quran) is a blessed book which we have revealed, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, so that you (O prophet) may warn the mother of the cities (Makkah) and those around her." (6:92)
"And thus we have revealed to you an Arabic Quran, so that you may warn the mother of the cities (Makkah) and those around her." (42:7)
The above verses clearly show that Mohammed claims to have received a revelation in Arabic to warn people of Makkah and those living close to it, of course the Arabic speaking people.
"Then we gave Moses the book, complete for him who would do good, an explanation of all things, a guidance and a mercy, so that they might believe in the meeting with their Lord." (6:154)
"And this (Quran) is a blessed book which we have revealed, so follow it and fear Allah that you may receive mercy." (6:155)
"Lest you (pagan Arabs) should say: The book was sent down to the two sects before us (the Jews and the Christians) and for our part we were in fact unaware of what they studied (because that book was in a different language)." (6:156)
These verses claim that the book given to Moses was complete. The Quran was revealed because the book of Moses was in a language foreign to the Arabs and they could have made this as an excuse for not following the book of Moses.
"Verily, We made it a Quran in Arabic so that you may be able to understand" (43:3)
This verse is clear enough to prove that Quran is in Arabic so that Arabs can understand it.
To say that this book is for non Arabic speaking people is as ridiculous as telling a Japanese person, "I have written this book in English so that you can understand."
According to this verse below, Islam is only for Arabs.
Islam is not a Universal Religion. Less than 5% of "Muslims" are Arabs. What's 5% of 1.9 Billion!? Then deduct the Children and any Arab who doesn't understand Arabic. I even heard an Arab Muslim say only about 1% of Arabs understand Arabic. Lol
      (Verse 14:4)
Yusuf Ali: We sent not a messenger except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make (things) clear to them.
      And then there's verse !
      Yusuf Ali (Verse 2:40)
Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other (for My Message)
Mohammed was an Arab in Saudi Arabia.
      Who were the Isrealites!? Hebrews/Jews.
      He obviously wasn't an Isrealite.
      Islam makes no sense! Lol

Expert warns of impending genocide in India. Gregory Stanton, the founder and director of Genocide Watch, said during a US congressional briefing there were early “signs and processes” of genocide in the Indian state of Assam and Indian-administered Kashmir.
“We are warning that genocide could very well happen in India,” Stanton said, speaking on behalf of the non-governmental organisation he launched in 1999 to predict, prevent, stop and seek accountability for the crime.
The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), an independent bi-partisan commission, has recommended for the second year in the row that the State Department put India on a list ('Countries of Particular Concern' or CPCs) for the worst violations of religious freedoms in 2020.

It is really bad in india and it got worse in last 10 years and it is keep getting worse banning adhan, banning hijab, banned meat, killing muslims for no reason, destroying muslim houses, banning madras, banning dawah the list goes on and on, its not so far that muslim in india will suffer genocides.

We tend to forget that the Muslim and Arab innocent populations have been colonized, enslaved, tortured with fist by corrupt puppet leaders of Zionists for centures now! What do you expect the society to be? "Ideal Muslim society"? If the guy appearing in the video or others with the like mind expect ideal Muslims in the Arab world, then they are wrong. If they had any idea what the Muslims have gone through in those countries, this guy wouldn't waste time making such video! im sorry to say people are completely wrong about their judgement and generalization. People in Arab/Muslim countries had no proper Islamic upbringing for the last centuries. They can't differentiate between Islamic authentic teachings and culture, customs and traditions due to ignorance. But for him to even compare them with non Muslims is not a fair assessment and not just. Sorry to say He is sending the wrong message.

Lol

They’re institutionalized in their interpretation of Islam. I’ve personally witnessed black Muslims in major cities behaving more like gangs ( selling drugs, being a nuisance, heads covered asses out). And one could say “not all black Muslims” and I would agree. But how you carry yourself in appearance and deeds says a lot about you and your faith. So it does seem like black Muslims have a lot to learn…

Just spilling your ignorance all out on this world wide web.
A great deal of AA Muslims do not just come as off springs of being incarcerated, most is an improper adjective to use here, a portion is more accectable. Especially, when there are no facts or, statistical evidence of an appropriate sample size being bought forth when making such a claim against a body of people.
And just like these AA Muslims you have witnessed committing horrid acts. There are YT and Arab Muslims, in droves pick pocketing, scamming, hustling, price gouging, and being a nuanice to others peace of mind and personal space when committing these acts. So sounds like some other folks have a lot to learn and uphold themselves as well.

@Hamudy Dudy B/c it ain't many Blacks on the arab world as compared to the diaspora in some countries in the west! But does that's there are usually very poor in general! And they suffer horrible treatment...So many stories about the treatment of domestic workers in the west, snd we've seen Black Muslims maimed and scarred begging on the streets of Makkah...Stop it! That lying for their ppl instead of fighting for truth is strong with many, or it is remarkable ignorance!

Fear Allah akhi and stop worrying about what other people think of you. America in general is not known for religion let alone Islam. The people that your talking about might be born muslim or come from muslims countries but that doesnt mean they have knowledge. Your going to deter individuals from visiting muslim countries with these types of remarks. The prophet SAW said were all the same except regardless of race except for Taqwa and good deeds. racism by several centuries. The early Islamic empire exhibited all the characteristics of anti black racism, and blacks suffered the lowest form of bondage. Europeans took photographs of chained black African slaves in Arab slave trading vessels on the East Coast of Africa in the eighteen eighties
