    Subhanallah. Growing up in various Muslim communities as a child, I watched plenty of older brothers run through sisters like it was a mad dash. I washed older brothers look at Sistah pregnant bellies or little girls and make claims to make them their wife when they came of age. I’ve watched brothers stand around (adding what this brother has mentioned) waiting to marry a sister soon as she finishes her shahadah. Watched brothers marry more than one wife at time, and not telling the other. And so on and so on.
    I add this, because as a Muslim and a sociologist, I want to help find a way to create content to help spread the word on this problem. And warn (mainly women converts) to learn the Deen, and learn their rights Allah has afforded them. Because some of these brother will teach them the Islam that suits their needs and not that of Allah and the sister. It’s heartbreaking to see marriage not even make it a full year or even a month. Shukron for this video brother; it needed to be said.

      Same experience. Don't deal with certain communities because it's just immoral and that's not the Islam I want to live.

    Glad I found your channel Brother. What you are saying is true. I feel for my single sisters in the Deen. May we perform Dua for our sisters and that Allah continues to guide them towards the straight path.

    There are women from many backgrounds who are believers, who don’t need reforming. There are so many things about this video that are disturbing. May Allah guide us all. I’m sure your intentions are good brother but there’s very little accountability for the ill treatment of women by “Muslim” men in the name of Islam. Let’s accept FULL responsibility. MashaAllah

      Yes, we need to all reform ourselves. However, be more specific when you make your critique so we understand what you are saying. Also, make sure you understand what was said in its proper context. May Allah bless you with good.

      Interesting. There are many things in real life that are also disturbing. Islam didn't only come to reform women but to reform mankind. When people don't feel like they need reform they don't need Islam.

      It is a most definite that a woman that comes into the religion learns the religion from other sisters unfortunately these brothers they take the knowledge and they use it to control the women and if a woman doesn't truly know her rights then she may end up abused in all forms may Allah have mercy on all his creation seeking to please him

      Try to read the biography of the Prophet (pbuh) and his companions such as Bilal ibn Rabah. They were the pious predecessors, and they weren’t racist. Unfortunately many muslims today have strayed far away from Islam.

      Be serious did you come into Islam because of the people or for finding the truth for yourself??? Racism has no place in Islam but among other Muslims might have racist ideologies in them.
      Racism is not just middle eastern they are people of the same background who are racist towards each other too.

      I hope you see this message. I can relate because I left Islam also, my reasoning had more to do with depression and not being able to reconcile how Allah could allow evil things to happen in the world. I can tell you this I returned to Islam and look back on that time period as the worst mistake I ever made. Anti-Black racaim is real, it should be acknowledged and Black people should not be gaslit. Lastly the Quran and Sunnah mandates Muslims to stand for justice and enjoin the good and forbid the evil and that would include the evil of anti-Black racism. I think because of the media a lot of people think Islam eqauls Arab, or to be Muslim is to also embrace Arab culture and to leave your own lineage and culture ...which isn't true. Islam is practiced all over the world, Islam simply filters one culture from sin. Before leaving Islam I would have recommended simply not interacting with racist. Did you live in the middle east? How was middle eastern racism affecting you? Islam didn't require you to put up with Middle eastern racism or to abandon your own people. I strongly suggest you rethink your decision and rethink this whole matter. May Allah guild us both.

    As Salaam Alaakum. The sisters need a qualified woman instructor to teach and help her. Sisters need private classes, with no male involved.

    I have a white friend who is in a Muslim for 7 months, he doesn't know the fun of matters of his name and believe in superstition. I honestly fear my white friend would be terrified to know about the fundamentals of and we will leave Islam.
    I need an advice. What shall I do to help him and let him know about Islam and to abolish innovation and dismiss superstition and old ways of disbelief??

    • @KhalidGreen
      @KhalidGreen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Well, I cannot advise you regarding him being white as you are obviously obsessed with that. Call him to correct tawheed away from shirk practices and that is all you can do.

    • @mahaduzumaki6643
      @mahaduzumaki6643 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Teach him Islam and have some confidence in your religion. Explain to him the fundamentals slowly and don’t try to hide them. Answer their questions and if you cannot then research on how to answer them. Whatever the case tell them not to react hastily and whenever you teach them something new learn why such is such and then explain him. There is nothing in Islam which is refutable and InshaAllah he will stay Muslim. Also it’s unnecessary if he’s white so there is no need to add that.

      I'm not giving it up. Subhanallaah. How can a Muslim make such an arrogant statement, and then expect good from Allaah?! The Book Of Allaah and the Sunnah clearly states music is haram.

      @@nasrismail47And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing) to mislead (men) from the path of Allah…” [Luqman 31:6]
      The scholar of the ummah, Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: this means singing . Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: this means playing the drum (tabl). (Tafsir al-Tabari, 21/40)
      Al-Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: this ayah was revealed concerning singing and musical instruments (lit. woodwind instruments). (Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 3/451)
      Al-Sa’di (may Allah have mercy on him) said: this includes all manner of haram speech, all idle talk and falsehood, and all nonsense that encourages kufr and disobedience; the words of those who say things to refute the truth and argue in support of falsehood to defeat the truth; and backbiting, slander, lies, insults and curses; the singing and musical instruments of the Shaytan; and musical instruments which are of no spiritual or worldly benefit. (Tafsir al-Sa’di, 6/150)
      Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
      “The interpretation of the Sahabah and Tabi'in, that ‘idle talk’ refers to singing, is sufficient. This was reported with sahih isnad from Ibn 'Abbas and Ibn Mas’ud. Abu’l-Sahba said: I asked Ibn Mas’ud about the ayah (interpretation of the meaning), ‘“And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks’ [Luqman 31:6]. He said: By Allah, besides Whom there is no other god, this means singing - and he repeated it three times. It was also reported with a sahih isnad from Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that this means singing.
      There is no contradiction between the interpretation of “idle talk” as meaning singing and the interpretation of it as meaning stories of the Persians and their kings, and the kings of the Romans, and so on, such as al-Nadr ibn al-Harith used to tell to the people of Makkah to distract them from the Quran.
      Both of them are idle talk. Hence Ibn 'Abbas said: “Idle talk” is falsehood and singing. Some of the Sahabah said one and some said the other, and some said both. Singing is worse and more harmful than stories of kings, because it leads to zina and makes hypocrisy grow (in the heart); it is the trap of the Shaytan, and it clouds the mind. The way in which it blocks people from the Quran is worse than the way in which other kinds of false talk block them, because people are naturally inclined towards it and tend to want to listen to it.
      The ayat condemn replacing the Quran with idle talk in order to mislead (men) from the path of Allah without knowledge and taking it as a joke, because when an ayah of the Quran is recited to such a person, he turns his back as if he heard them not, as if there were deafness in his ear. If he hears anything of it, he makes fun of it. All of this happens only in the case of the people who are most stubbornly kafirs and if some of it happens to singers and those who listen to them, they both have a share of this blame.” (Ighathat al-Lahfan, 1/258-259)Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not sell singing slave women, do not buy them and do not teach them. There is nothing good in this trade, and their price is haram. Concerning such things as this the ayah was revealed (interpretation of the meaning): {And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing) to mislead (men) from the path of Allah…} [Luqman 31:6].” (Hasan hadith)
      Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
      “[Allah said to Iblis:] And befool them gradually those whom you can among them with your voice (i.e. songs, music, and any other call for Allah's disobedience)…” [al-Isra 17:64]
      It was narrated that Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “And befool them gradually those whom you can among them with your voice” - his voice [the voice of Iblis/Shaytan] is singing and falsehood.
      Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “This idafah [possessive or genitive construction, i.e., your voice] serves to make the meaning specific, as with the phrases [translated as] “your cavalry” and “your infantry” [later in the same ayah]. Everyone who speaks in any way that is not obedient to Allah, everyone who blows into a flute or other woodwind instrument, or who plays any haram kind of drum, this is the voice of the Shaytan. Everyone who walks to commit some act of disobedience towards Allah is part of his [the Shaytan’s] infantry, and anyone who rides to commit sin is part of his cavalry. This is the view of the Salaf, as Ibn ‘Abi Hatim narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas: his infantry is everyone who walks to disobey Allah.” (Ighathat al-Lahfan).
