    Currently 30 weeks pregnant with my second and already purchased the newborn and 4-16 month programs! I got the toddler program for my daughter when she was 2 and it literally changed our life for the better! We’re all not only getting better sleep but the quality of our relationships improved because we’re not so cranky and sleep deprived! 😂
    I wanted to make sure we start off on the right foot this time around so I jumped on those Black Friday sales and so glad I did because I was able to get both programs for baby #2! I tell all my parent friends about Little Z’s Sleep programs because I’m so grateful we have a toddler that sleeps 12hrs through the night! 🎉

      This is amazing and is music to my ears!!! Thank you SO much for sharing!!! We are so honored you chose Little Z's to help make sleep a thing for your family!!
      We would like your story to live on as encouragement for other families seeking to make sleep changes within their home! Would you be interested in writing a Google review for us?
      Thank you so much! Please let us know if there is anything we can help you with in the future!

    Oh my gosh. I WISH I had discovered this channel before my first was born! He was the worst sleeper on the planet! I read babywise, and it was clear as mud. Sure, it gave a feeding schedule but it didn't address any other issues! Later on I used The Baby Sleep Solution which was helpful, but still didn't fix all our issues.
    Now, having read both those books PLUS having these videos, all the pieces are coming together and I see how much easier things could have been! I feel so much more confident and equipped for my second who is due in September.

    I have a 2 week old. He’s my 3rd baby, but my first to refuse to sleep in his own bassinet at night. I’ve been working with him. He’s currently sound asleep in the bassinet. Last night I was exhausted so I pulled him into our bed. I threw all the pillows and blankets far out of his way. I startled myself awake because my body tried to roll, and thankfully I felt him and caught myself before rolling on top of him. I can’t put him back in our bed. That was a terrifying moment that I didn’t even know I was capable of. It takes one bad move. I’m going to check your stuff out. Thanks for the video.

    Pro-tip for bassinet sleeping (my mom did it with both her kids, and it worked great for me): get a flat bottomed bassinet that can fit on your bed. In the hospital the baby sleeps in the bassinet, and just continue that in your bed. The baby will never realize there's another option, and will feel safe and secure because he or she is still right next to you. At about three months I started setting the bassinet on its own legs next to the bed, and at six months my son transitioned to the crib with no fuss.

      I’m not putting my baby’s bassinet ON my bed lol. No. That’s a horrible idea

    • @maricruzminter
      @maricruzminter ปีที่แล้ว

      @JoeBidensdirtydiaper I wouldn't suggest doing it with anything smaller than a queen sized bed, or if you're someone who moves around a lot in you're sleep. But if you're not, it works well.

    13:18 How long should that nap be? Like only 15-20 mins???

    • @littlezsleep
      @littlezsleep  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, that would be a GREAT start for a nap in the bassinet/crib! And if they sleep longer that's great, too!

    My ILs live with us in our home. They have taken over the master BR and we love upstairs in a room that js fit for a child. Ive asked my wife if her parents could stay in a hotel for the first 3-5 days when we bring home our first child. She became very upset but i feel this moment I have been looking forward to has been robbed of me. AITA?

    My baby is 1 week old and I really need this kind of video, my baby always waking up in the middle of night, his routine is sooo tiring 😫 he slept 8pm-12am and when he wake up, he can't even sleep on his crib, he want to sleep on my husband's and my body. any advice? we really need to sleep more than 2 hours. 😔
    sorry I'm not good in eng..

    • @littlezsleep
      @littlezsleep  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Zirahy!! First, congratulations on baby!! At this young we can do all we can to help little one fall asleep. I would ensure: baby is swaddled, offer feeds during the night if/when baby wakes, and help little one fall asleep and then transfer to bassinet/crib. You are doing an excellent job!!! Check our video all about how to implement the pick up/put down method for the future!!

    How to parent/mum takes nap. Mum has to put Baby on crib to sleep since she also need to take naps while the baby sleeps. So how does only 1 nap in the crib works?

    Do you have any advice for new mom of twins?

    • @littlezsleep
      @littlezsleep  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Karen!! First- congratulations!! Second- go easy on yourself! If your twins are still in the early weeks, then focus on these steps slowly. My best piece of advice is to try and keep them on the same "schedule" (newborns aren't super scehduled based anyways) as best as possible. This may mean that you have twin A waking in the morning ready at 6:30AM, but twin B is still sleeping. It's okay to get twin A up, feed and start the day- and give twin B 20-30 extra minutes of sleep is they want! I have so much more about twins on my blog as well! Check out this post (but know that it is meant for 4 months+ when I say sleep training!) littlezsleep.com/blog/5-sleep-training-tips-for-twins/

    So this is not related to this video, but it is related to sleep. My twins are 2, been sleeping through the night since sleep training at 6 months and then again at 10 months all night when we weaned the bottle. We have nighttime routine, sleep sacks, white noise and they have been angels until right before there second birthday in September, my daughter got sick and was in the hospital. Since bringing her home she has not slept a single night through without crying multiple times or even a nap for me. If I don’t run in there she wakes brother up since they share a room. I have talked with her, given her a night light, tried melatonin, etc. without success. However, daycare follows the exact routine and she never has problems for nap there. I just need help and some sleep please.
