@@saulgoodman2018 I'm with you. Installing an exhaust fan is the best option for moisture in a bathroom, but I can imagine that for people without much/any experience with a project like that, it would be pretty intimidating. So, limewashing could be a good, cheap first option to try before taking on, or hiring someone to do, a bigger project like an exhaust fan.
@@saulgoodman2018 that's just factually wrong. limewash is not like normal latex or oil based paints. it has an entirely different chemical makeup. it's mostly made up of lime (calcium hydroxide) and water. when it reacts to the oxygen in the air, it turns into calcium carbonate. because calcium carbonate is highly alkaline it deters mold growth. and because it's a relatively porous material, it's breathable and dries easily. nobody said that paint stops moisture, but unlike most latex or oil based paint, limewash can prevent that moisture from turning into mold. also, to your original point: yes, an exhaust fan would still be the best option.
Didn't realize that limewash was good for excess moisture. Might need to look into that for my bathroom. 🤔
Omg is Andrew the dude I hear over the store intercom every once in a while saying “protect your home, and your budget”??
Limewash does not help with mold. An exhaust fan does.
Sounds like you are claiming they are mutually exclusive. Nothing about limewash prohibits you from also having an exhaust fan
@@sandrakicklighter2735 That is not what I said. This guy said nothing about having a fan.

@@daphnisnaith6496 I'm saying it's just like any other paint. Paint does not stop moisture.

So why don't you tell me the name of the movie that you want to see.
Pant would probably make it look better. I thought lime wash was for bricks?
How fake these guys sound!
Sounds like AI 😂😂😂
Yeah
The first guys voice sounds dubbed with someone else's voice!! 😂
