cool idea to seal it with a wire nut. i also like the idea to test the bead size beforehand. and the instruction to smooth it out afterward is a good idea. and precleaning is smart, too. thanks, Lowes, for making this video.

Hi there, there are a few reasons why you caulk may have dried too fast: 1) Your room’s humidity could be too low. 2) Your caulk is too hot or to cold, your caulk works best between 40-80 degrees, or your caulk may be expired.

I have seen people apply caulk with no tape and no smoothing tools, just their finger. I was hoping this video would cover that.

I’ve only ever used white caulk, though I know it comes in other colors.
Maybe I need to try other color caulk - though it depends on my mood and the job at hand. I have a hard job that needs tan caulk currently. Home centers are a great place to pick up loads of caulk in all shades. Will start there.

Don't use a screw, nail or electrical wire connector to seal your used caulk tube. Use a call tube cap/ saver (looks like a mini condom).
Sucks when it wont come out feels like your doing something wrong but it's not rocket science 😕
