Nice to see how much potential the TVS supercharger has in the modern 5.0 V8's in comparison to the hard to impossible to install twin-screws. So few seem to be interested in bringing out the beast in the TVS Jags. Nicely done video as well.
672HP and 890TQ. I just wonder how long will that STOCK 8HP70 transmission last under that load... Also, what about the E-Diff? I did read about the trans limiting torque, so in reality, that 890 torque would come alive for a second or two and be reduced to whatever the trans wants..
It's been good for over two years so far on this very car. We tune these regularly. It is possible to raise the torque limiters but standard they are set to 900Nm usually. The ZF gearbox is very popular in other brands too that run even more torque, some over 1000Nm. Thanks for watching

Good Going.. Could you advise on the transmission. 6hp28 are made for maximum 750Nm, you achieved almost 900Nm, it could blow the transmission? Or is the torque limited by TCU and PcM which will electronically limit to keep under 750Nm? thanks
Hi there, the gearboxes have electronic torque limiters. They differ on what power output they are limited to model to model. We can raise these electronic limiters.

EDIT: We have developed a similar tune for the 3.0 supercharged engines..best result so far was 435bhp/441ps. Kit comes with Wraptor 450 performance badges. We are reworking the kit currently to squeeze a little more power from it. Thanks for the message.

I have an xjr 5.0 SC and 640 horses and should I continue to pour 0w20 or 0w40 oil ? Thanks for your reply
0w-20 fully synthetic engine oil of the correct JLR specification so then it will also contain the correct additives.
