Girl you are just like me! People in my family think I’m crazy because of the manual labor I put myself through to get the beautiful space that I want/need. And If you want something done right and in this lifetime you have to do it yourself 🤷🏽♀️ new sub, keep going girl 🤎
And this all started from the thought that “I’m not gonna miss out on having a certain lifestyle just because I’m not in a certain tax bracket YET. So I’ll make the best with what I do have” Very comforting watching your vids. Thank you!
Just subscribed! Not that I don't know how to use power tools but this can really make it easy to tear down if I want a different look years down the road!
Thank you ☺️ trust me it’s really not that hard. You can do it. The hardest part is figuring out your measurements after that. It’s just becomes a tedious task that pays off.
@@TieraLovelle t came out beautifully! How did you fill the gaps? Not that you really needed to, they're not too noticeable. Also, I am going to look for the video with the sconces. Did you put holes in the walls for those or adhesive?
Yes I just updated the description box and put the trim I used and a cheaper alternative but if you’re in the US you will need to copy the name into the US site.
This is such a great video! I love how in depth you were, and the tips you provided are so helpful ❤ I would not have been able to figure this out by myself lol so thank you!!!

I didn’t need to do too much filling I just painted over it and it covered the gaps if there was any I just use filler on those corners, but for the most part it covered up once I painted it
I just updated the description box and put the links there. I also put a cheaper alternative both links are for CA but if you type the name in the USA website you should find similar trim.
I just use some wood filler, but I didn’t put it on the wall cause I didn’t want it to get damaged. I also just painted over it, some of the seams were small enough that it covered the gaps.
I made a sketch first of what I thought I wanted on the wall and then I took the measurement of the wall and then divided the spaces for in between what the gaps would have to be if i wanted 4 boxes. And then I used painters tape to see if I actually liked it. I can make a separate video going more into detail how I calculated everything if you think that would be helpful.
@@Carnivore1959 oh no, did you just pull them off or did you use a blow dryer to heat up the adhesive? And the adhesive from the Velcro command strips didn’t cause any damage?

Haha thank you, we are the same lol if you truly want something you’re going to find a way to get it. ☺️
I’d really really appreciate the cost breakdown
I think it depends on where you live when it comes to cost. I know I have found wood sometimes at The Restore.
I'll definitely be doing this on my walls
You should it made such a difference in the space.
I think it looks great
Thank you the templates are a good idea

Aww thank you ☺️ Yeah I totally agree trends change. And it’s nice to switch things up every now and then if you get bored.
😂😂😂You are hilarious. Girl stop, not stop! Thank you for being specific and entertaining. I get it, I'm a perfectionist also. Love it! 🤗
Haha thank you, someone that gets me 😅😊
Looks perfect! Thanks for sharing.
Great timing with posting this!
This project is definitely intimidating but your video made it seem possible. Great work, it looks beautiful. 🤩

Do you mean when I removed it did it leave holes in my walls?
Looks fantastic ❤
Turned out beautiful! ❤ which trim pieces did you use?

Awwww what can we use in the UK? No home depots here
Great job 👏🏾 💙
I've got to share this tut
Hi! Great video! What did you do to close the corner gaps? I don’t see that in the video

Great job. Mic drop worthy.
What where the final cost for this project give or take.
Love it - come and do mine
How did you determine the size of the squares and the spacing?

@@TieraLovelleThat would be very helpful!!
I damaged my apt walls using that double sided tape a few yrs back. Now use Velcro command strips
