I watched a peel and stick you did 2 years ago but I didn’t see if your grout worked long term not being peel and stick grout. You really do the full job! You are a talented woman. Love your go for it attitude. Thanks!
Aww thank you. ☺️ It held out for quite some time, but I noticed 2 1/2 years three years. I had to refill some of the spots that were more high traffic, but for the most part, most of the grout stayed intact. If I was to do it again, I would do more research on different types of grouts. I will say I am pretty delicate with my belongings and house if you have high traffic or have other people that are more rough and tough with things than I would say, maybe it’s not the best option I could see it it needing to be touched up more frequently.
So glad to see that you used a barrier layer under your peel and stick floor tiles. So many people who do videos like this just stick it directly to the floor without considering the gluey residue that will be left behind when they remove it.
Oh, I know I stress out every time I see people do that. That’s why I share my video. I feel like many think because it says peel& stick. They think it’s removable. These tiles are actually meant for people that want to keep them in their home long-term, there are removable tiles, but just not these ones.
If you ever do trim again. Use painters tape over where you want to cut. So that it doesn’t splinter or crack the molding. It will also make for a clean cut.
You’re overthinking girlfriend. Take a deep breathe 😮 personally I love the pattern on the wallpaper. I wouldn’t distract it by something else added unless it’s glass or acrylic shelf. ❤ I love all of designs! Hugs from this ole granny in Virginia Beach, VA.
Tiera, you did a fantastic job on this renter friendly bathroom makeover! The final result looks so luxurious and beautifully done! You have given me so many great ideas to use to makeover my small bathroom in my new apartment that I just rented! I subscribed to your channel so that I can find more renter friendly tips for the rest of my apartment. Thanks so much for the tips and for giving me the confidence to be able to try to do this myself! 😊👍💯
Looks great ! Love the sticky wallpaper!❤ But how do feel about making a counter top to fit around the basin and carry it on straight over the toilet and make a frame to box off the front to hide the pedestal, systern and any ugly piping. Just make sure u make a lift up peice over the top of the systern for access ❤
OMG you remind me of me! when I was younger! I love everything about you! you even have the same taste of decorating as I do. I would love to share this with my daughter, & granddaughters. You are #1 in my books, thanks so much for sharing! xo
My apologies sorry for the wait I thought I put it in the description box. I just updated everything I put the US and Canadian link for it. I got it from Home Depot.
@@barbaradavis9136 thank you I appreciate it. And regarding the towel bar unfortunately, since I’m renting, that is a fixture that I cannot change. It’s bolted in the wall and there would be a massive hole and that’s something my landlord won’t permit me to change.
Are there any substitutes for the panel if one you don’t have a sore too you definitely shouldn’t have one lol is there anything they sell that can substitute?
Do you mean if you don’t have a saw to cut the panels? You can always get a handheld saw from Amazon that has the miter block with it. I’ve done it for my apartment or you could always buy premade panels online. They are usually pricier though.
Looks great! What height is the chair rail on the wall from the floor? I have the same towel bar in my rental and I don't know wheather to start the chair rail below or above the towel bar.
Hello, I added a link in my description box, but I got it from bed Bath and beyond because they had it on sale. Plus they had a coupon but I originally seen it on Wayfair. If you click the link and get the name, I suggest looking up the name in Google and see what websites have it for cheaper. Wayfair was coming to something like $600 but I was able to get it from BBB for like two something.
Nice! Hello, Did you remove the light fixture when applying the peel and stick wallpaper or work around it? I'm applying peel and stick wallpaper to my bathroom, but I'm nervous about turning off the power switch panel then removing the light fixture to apply the wallpaper.
@@C1TJMoney I just worked around my light fixture, but depending on your light fixture, it may just be two screws on the side and make it easier so you don’t have to necessarily cut around it and if there’s any imperfections, you can hide it with the light fixture after.
I'm feeling the vibe you went with
Bougie rich Auntie! Love that! It’s a beautiful space and you did a fantastic job on this project!
Aww thank you 😊

@@gavriellaalexander9866 I just measured it, from the floor to the bottom of the chair. It is 41.5 inches.

It’s a royalty free song from epic sound the song is envy you by mimmi Bangoura
The "excess" as you call it is actually called the repeat.
