Can’t help smiling when listening to him. He’s so proud of being Mexican from Guadalajara and he encourages other Mexicans to follow him. Talent is everywhere, you just have to cultivate it, but I’m glad this puts México in a position of honor. Congratulations Guillermo. You’re a real influencer.

My friend is a filmmaker and GDT is his favorite director. He recently moved to LA to chase his dream. He met GDT at an event and he said he was the best. He talked to my friend for about 30 minutes and gave him all sorts of advice and wished him luck. It’s been over a year and my friend still riding that high. He genuinely seems like a good guy.
Mexico must be very proud of this talented man. Can't wait to see what magic he creates next. 🎥

Guillermo is not confused: R2D2 WAS called "Artudito" in the Latin American Spanish dub of Star Wars, which sounded like "Arturito" to everyone. "Artudito" is a way of spelling out the sound R2D2 the way it sounds in English. The movie was re-dubbed in the late 90s for the special edition.
They did change the name to Arturito, it just sounds cute

Ahora solo las veo en ingles, o con sus doblajes originales
