    HELLO THERE:
We are Joe and Liisu, relatively new to TH-cam but really excited to be a part of this community. We live small and sustainably in my home on wheels (a lovely van called Freyja) and from time to time out of our backpacks (we have not named the backpacks yet). On this channel, we ask you to join us on our travel adventures off the beaten track where we show you the beauty of untouched nature and wander into places most tourists don't dare to go.

From our childhood our parents show us to accommodate and welcome guests and we learn from our childhood. So it becomes nature and our parents teaches us because in our religion Islam guests are blessings and it become culture so inviting food to the guests is must and take them home and let them stay in home and take care of guests.💕🥰👍🤲. Hope you understand now a little 😊

@@WildVikingTravelsno actually the reason you feel negative about balochistan police is because balochistan has less literacy rate and there are some people who can rob you there or kidnap you yes that’s harsh reality thats why police kept a check on you but this thing is rarely but some parts of balochistan and I think thats the part of tourism that one should always consider travelling to any country there are always negative things but on other hands balochistan is very beautiful area like gawader and gawadar national park etc but we welcome all tourists from our hearts and hospitality is one of major aspect in Pakistani culture. The second thing which i will not say negative that people gathering around you since there is not a great number of tourists (international) visiting Pakistan some people are not used to deal or interact or know how to react with them but when they see some they gather around to get to know one. I hope this clarifies some points and yes its safe to visit Pakistan. Thanks for representing a positive side of Pakistan.❤

I'll be hiking the K2 and Gondogora La in the Korakoram mountains in August and I can't wait to experience this myself. This is a group tour so I'm quite sure it will be totally different than this, but even then it think it will be very special. Too bad not many people have discovered this country, because from what I have seen from other travelling vloggers it really is breath-taking.

For us " a guest is shear blessing of God " we have firm believe in that, when a guest arrives to us they automatically become responsibility, we are suppose to take as good care of them as we possibly can, feeding them, protecting them, making them comfortable by all mean becomes our primary duty, your " white skin " or different facial features just make is easier to recognize you, it assures that you are a guest. That's all. So well come to Pakistan and enjoy! 🎉

There is a way of life in most Islamic countries --- called melmistia (spelling?) --- which states that travelers and strangers MUST be protected, fed, and sheltered for free. For instance, that Pakistan even sheltered Osama Bin Laden --- was totally in harmony with their culture of melmistia.
I enjoyed your behind the scenes reporting (and drone photography). I hitchhiked through this gorgeous area (including Chitral) as a young American hippie in the 1960s --- on my way to Katmandu and Goa.

In college I met a nice couple from Pakistan. They invited me for dinner and we stayed up quite late. They should me videos of their country and we talked about different cultures. It became cold and snowy. They told me the weather was bad and wanted me to spend the night. They gave me their bed, provided me with pajamas and a robe and made me an amazing breakfast the next morning. They said I was welcome to visit any time.

Hospitality is a cultural thing in Pakistan and this is across the board for local and foreigners but in last 2 decades we received some horrible reputation internationally as a dangerous country. People in Pakistan were heartbroken for getting such negative image of being terrorists and once foreign tourists started to return they go out of their way to prove to the world that what they heard about us was not totally wrong. And this is not for just caucasian tourists but east Asian, African and Middle Eastern tourists as well. Your friend Mo looked quite Pakistani so he wasn’t getting the same attention as you do. As far as security is concerned there have been issues in past in specific locations like Baluchistan but im not sure why they escorted you for 7 days. Usually they are escorted at iran boarder and drop them off at punjab or sindh boarder in 2-3 days. Once you enter punjab you don’t need the escorts.

The scene from across the road was a stunning uncluttered, pristine beach. Running 8 miles. I got sick and eventually had no choice but to be treated back in England. I envy you bothso much. I live in Kashmir India. I have the same experiences regarding the hospitality of the Kashmiri (predominantly Muslims). Here, even without a Rupya, I will never die of hunger. The hospitality and respect I receive are amazing. The locals tell me it's their duty and it's teached to them from Islam and Qur'an to always have an open door for any "stranger" and it has nothing to do with your skin colour. I have in general experienced a lot of hospitality in India (certainly compared to Europe), but the hospitality I encounter here in Kashmir is outstanding. I really love this place and its people. If only we would treat the Muslims in Europe with the same respect. "If we take the best from the east and the best from the west, we create a better world".

Pakistan is a law abiding country and ensures the safeties of our guests. I hope you must have understood this small inconvenience was for a good purpose and might have save you from bigger troubles. People from other countries play an incredible role in preserving the beauty of this land for generations to come. Their appreciation for the culture, the scenery, and the people helps safeguard the essence of this place till the Day of Judgment. It's heartening to see how their positive interactions with the locals can even have a transformative effect on those who might have strayed down the wrong path. These visitors inspire change, turning some individuals away from negative activities like robbery and theft, towards a more positive and constructive path. It's a beautiful testament to the power of human connection and the positive influence that travelers can have on the places they visit. 🌍❤ #PositiveInfluence #PreserveBeauty

I don't mind locals being interested and getting to know me, I just couldn't cope with the crowding around, staring and following, it would freak me out 😢 Travelled a fair bit, even as a solo female traveller across Turkey, and love getting to know locals and making new friends, but there is a point where it becomes rude and intimidating, this is it 😢

In a way I agree with you that it is too much. It is intense and there is a lot of people around in Pakistan. Most of the time we could handle it but there were times after a long day when the attention just got too much...

It is about color as well. While some are genuinely friendly some would ignore the people who blend in. Talking from experience. Wonderful video

Yeah, that's what Mo said that if he didn't film or talk to the camera, he would be ignored mostly...

    This is ridiculous..

It was pretty ridiculous, yes and sadly it seems their strict guidelines are slow to change and lower officers can't decide much.
