Neither they try to talk the national language for communication( only native and english language) which is very difficult even for other indians to communicate. Now about the rape cases. Hindi is your mother tongue, that doesn't mean I'll have to learn it. I'll learn it if I need it. We don't need it to live our lives in the south, so Hindi is not a mandatory language for us. But those interested to learn it, are learning. We are not against Hindi. But also not eager to learn it unless necessary. Don't divide india in south and north, what about the recent murder of an you girl in Bengaluru and some years ago a young girl was raped and burnt alive by 3 or 4 in Andhra Pradesh.
