Ok, thanks for the great information I just pulled the fan from my wife's 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. A note of interest is that you don't have to pull the glove box you can just remove the bottom cover with 2 screws on the cover and one for the light and everything is accessible. Thanks again. I have fixed so much stuff on TH-cam it is where I goto first when something is broken.
Thank you for the tutorial. It was very helpful in removing what turned out to be a dead mouse from the blower. It was mummified. I'm glad it was a simple fix. Thank you
Great information, took my blower out and found a big old dead mouse Causing the imbalance and noise in my 2006 jeep grand Cherokee. Would love to know how they can get in there. Amazing.
Excellent video! I was afraid I'd have to take the entire dash apart to get to the motor on my 2003. Now I see I can actually do this job myself. Cool!
When replacing the blower motor I used a a 12 inch stick to hold up the motor when I replaced the three screws. The reason my blower motor needed to be repaired was due to a dead mouse in the cage fan. Thanks for the heads up on the removal.
So how did you know it needed replacing? I own an '02 and when I turn on the unit, nothing (heat or cold) blows out at all. It's like the fan doesn't exist.
I have an 06 grand Cherokee and my blower motor has different screw pattern and more and the plug is in a completely different location than this. Don't know why.
Mine makes a weird squeaky noise when I have it on and if the cars is on a bumpy road the squeaking comes on but after it will go away is this because of the motor blower?
I found out why the saturn sl1 was putting out the tail pipe the intake manifold gasket needs replaced it was misfiring slightly so if anyone ever has the put put problem 99 out 100 times it is the intake manifold gasket

Hit the bottom cover with a blunt object
I know that sounds ridiculous but that's the quick fix. The major fix is more than likely a new wire harness for the motor and resistor
Check the fuses first?😜

Thanks for the help. You sound like Billy Crystal.
My 2009 Jeep Cherokee the AC goes in and out it’s not completely out but it switches from on then to off. Is the the blower motor or another problem?
Simple and easy. I'll be doing this myself.
Okay so how do we take out the glove box 👀
Thanks Billy crystal

Amazing video, to the point, descriptive enough (for me at least) thank you, thought I was gonna have to tear the whole thing up like I did my tahoe

For you to get a better look and lighting
Not too bad, you have had worse :-D.
