Thanks! Unfortunately the gear on my blower flap door is broken (opposite of yours). I'm having a hard time finding a gear. Even a new flap door doesn't include gear!
lower the blower motor , acces the recirc door and pull out. I left my door out and restored air flow. cannot use recirc option but atleast i have heat and a/c i may try to j b weld the broken gear back if i cannot locate one. good luck.
How do I know which blend door actuator to get if I need to replace two different kinds ? 05 jeep grand cherokee. One is on the driver side and the other is on the passenger but which blend door actuators do I need or can one fit all?
I have the same problem. I was thinking if you take pictures before you disassemble, you can put stuff back exactly the way you have it in the pictures.

Besides the gear lever that was broken. .....did you also replace the actuator box?

How do you index the gears properly, as soon as I power up the ignition the electronic actuator begins to turn?
