Our 9200-9400s have the L Gas Plus, like this one. Most of them have that flabby exhaust. Some of them have str8 pipe. Our 9500s have the ISL-G engine like WMATAs NABI BRTs
Caitsith810: They don’t sound like that anymore! Metro Repowered all of their units to Cummins isl-g engines which isn’t bad but not the same loudness as the original Cummins l gas plus engine
@@MFPTransitVideos what I miss about the l gas plus was the turbo backfire. I wouldn't mind if the isl g still had the backfire. That's the only difference I notice between the old L gas plus and the new ISL G.
I might head to Downtown LA tomorrow and get some more recordings of these. You really need to come out here one day. I look forward in seeing all you guys next week in NYC.
I'm from Mexico in past years I had the opportunity to visit the beautiful city of Los Angeles, when you visit the city I lived in the east, and always remember that we took the subway to go to rapid Santa Monica, downtown or have compras.ya past six years and every time I hear recordings of the engines clearly remember the trip from downtown to Wilshire and everything looked. Not if I could help you remember better by doing a recording of a small rapid path 720. Plea center east please reply
