Still have my 1995 DW-290...i was a kid back then and it was my first watch. Its pretty beat up,no strap but i put a new battery recently and works perfectly. I would have never thought that after 30 years people would still talk about it...
7:03 You can change the curvature of the strap by immersing them in boiling-hot water. The straps become super comfortable if you bend the straps inward at the points where "accordion" sections end😀. Also, you can bend the tip of the strap inward so it won't stick out. And yes! I love this watch too.
I bought this watch when it came out and I still have it. The strap had to be replaced and the lettering has worn off. It has the same module as a G-Shock module but I can't remember which one it is. Of course it is still working like the day I bought it. 😎
I think what holds this brilliant watch back is its strap. It literally leaves a mark after a long wear, as it can be really uncomfortable when you like a close fit. Other than that, it's a beautiful beast especially considering the price and history.
