As an owner of two previous hydroconquest…I really like the updates, in additional to adding the GMT function. Would definitely add this to my collection, if I didn’t already have a submariner and chronomat GMT, in my current collection

It looks like a great watch, but I'm worried about future software updates. If I buy this watch, I want it to last a long time and fulfill the "rugged" label that comes with it. Will future software updates render the watch unusable?

Looks great! No regrets brother! I would just enjoy it and not worry about it. I have an original 321 and did end up getting a new hesalite crystal by my watchmaker and was able to keep the original dial, but not original hands (yes it looks totally funky that way), but I wouldn't change a thing. It is your watch, I am never getting rid of mine... it will always be part of your story as will mine!

How is it wearing a hat? With my Flak 2.0 XLs, I have to wear them with my hat underneath... Not the best for me. Just curious if you can wear these completely under a hat and still be comfortable

Did they give back the hands? The patina dial and hands are the most valuable. I will miss the old vintage look.

I like mine, but I wish it had a double LED light like the AE-1200 or DW-291H.

I returned mine, the rubber or material is way too soft and ended up getting a piece of small rock between the front screen and the material. My OG mudmaster has been thru the paces and when compared to the material it's way stiff and hard. I also read the same complaint of the material being softer. Nice watch, but no-go for me. Will wait for gravity master

Any cons you can think of? Mine would be the unnecessary artificial colouring, and the unnecessary sweeteners/flavouring -- both are no good for your liver/kidneys. Stevia is too new of a sweetener to have any results from studies, but I would wager we'll find something within the next 25 years. Aspartame consumption is heavily linked to cancer. Stevia most likely will give us the same results as it's already been proven to be bad for your gut microbiome. With artificial sweeteners, your body is fooled into thinking it's absorbed carbohydrates when, in fact, there is nothing there. Your cells react as though there are carbs, and respond appropriately. After ingesting stevia enough times, your cells will become desensitized to carb consumption in general. Your body will presume anything sweet does not have carbohydrates and will result in visceral fat gain which is not good for the heart.

Bit of feedback, too much intro and b-roll to get to the actual content 3 minutes in. Nice watch though.

Just got one last month. Put it on a tropic strap. Regarding the absence of lume, i just think of it like mimicking real aged lume on vintage watches where the lume dosent glow anymore. Besides, i dont need all my watches to glow and the other watches takes care of that.

Still have my 1995 DW-290...i was a kid back then and it was my first watch. Its pretty beat up,no strap but i put a new battery recently and works perfectly. I would have never thought that after 30 years people would still talk about it...

in GBD-H2000 there is no tide graph function. in GPR-H1000 it is.

I really like Gotrax but I HATE not being able to disable the kick to start and cruise control functions. And why 2 speeds?

I did the same thing. Sold my Casio GBR-H1000 after a month and bought the Garmin Epix Pro Gen 2. Much better for so many reasons.
