1. You get tunnel vision during attacks. You stop checking your 6. 2. At least twice you flew basically into the gunsights of an IL-2 you just shot at and passed --- luckily the pilots were rather busy writing their last will and testament: "I, crazy enough to be sitting in a plane that's disintegrating around me, hereby ... WHOA!"

This is very fun! I would love to see a Pe-2 campaign as a change of pace. Soviet bombing is a very interesting perspective imo. Love these videos, keep them coming
Guessing you're just having fun and fooling around in the 109. There are better ways of engaging in a combat pattern against the IL-2. The 6'o clock isn't one of them. There's plenty of literature by the gaming community around the old IL-2 game on forums and websites that many may not know of anymore and are probably dormant: SimHQ, combatace etc. If you're lucky you'll also find a treasure trove of original Luftwaffe manuals and guides for pilots, including strategies and diaries by legendary aces. Hope that helps you get better at flying those machines.
Hey, as Chuck Yeager famously said, any landing you can walk away from is a good landing; and if the plane can be flown the next day, it's a *great* landing. :)

Hey @Wolfpack345 , at 5:55 in the video your cannon ammo is nearly empty, but 5 seconds later it is full again. Any reason for this? Not trying to sound nitpicky or anything. Love your videos :)
When originally designed they could only get a 60 round box working for the cannons. So the cannon ammo counter only goes to 100. Starting with the MG/FF (I think) they put 200 rounds in so the counter goes to zero, resets to 100 and goes down again.
Well always kick the ball… good aproaches lead to good landings is what they say… and every landing you can walk away from is a good landing. Every landing where you can use they aircraft again is a great landing! Keep on going!

Regarding your naval stuff, have you heard of a game called Victory at Sea: Pacific? I play it right now and it feels a bit like War on the Sea, but encompassing the entire pacific.

Any landing you can walk away from is a successful landing. A perfect landing is one where you can use the plane again afterwards.
The best and most economical way of 'doing' a Sturmovik is from the bottom Wolf... hit 'em in the oil radiator!!

Not sure if it’s the case with the 109, but some German aircraft use a counter system that resets halfway through.
