  • Shabbat Prep | Friday Routine | How we Celebrate Shabbat | Orthodox Jewish | Sephardic Jewish | Shabbat Salads | Shabbat Prep Routine | How to Prepare For Shabbat | Shabbat Meals | Shabbat Dinner | Orthodox Jewish Mom | Friday DITL | How to keep Shabbat
As a convert, I struggled for a long time trying to figure out how to manage my time to get everything done for Shabbat. I felt like I did not have any role models, since I grew up very differently. We have been keeping Shabbat long enough now that I have figured out what works for us. Some weeks are still tight, but I have learned many ways to be more efficient with shabbat preparations. This video is a look into a typical Friday in my home while getting ready for Shabbat. :)
Hope you enjoy and if you have any questions for me, please comment below.

Do you find your roast potatoes still taste good when warmed later? Mines taste kinda soggy when re heated.

Your video kind of popped up. The Hasidics in the family say since I have a New Testament I would have to convert and am no longer Jewish. It’s my understanding that religious Israel was divorced by Hashem. Christians say I can’t be there because I don’t believe in a Trinity. Only thing left is Islam with a book collection by an Arab warlord. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Try reaching out to Messianic Jews, they read both the Old Testament and the New Testament

      @@jayellealafi5797
The author of the text in the first link claims that Messianic people disregard the laws of the Old Testament and only follow the customs of Rabbi's.
      This is a false claim.
There are a lot of Messianic people, Jew or "grafted into the vine", living inside or outside of Israel,
who do not observe unscriptural customs and strictly follow the laws in the Torah, as well as Yeshua/Jesus teachings.
Yeshua/Jesus himself said: "Do not think that I came to annul the law or the prophets (Matthew 5:17) and "For I say to you, until heavens and and earth pass away, in no way shall one jota or tittle pass away from the law".
For that matter, any "Christian" who claims that the law has been annulled, is directly opposing the Christ they claim to follow and name themselves after.

So sad to see a child with a mask.

    • @jayellealafi5797

I almost didn't enrolled my kids for the 2021-2022 season over the school's forced masking policy. It was awful here. 😔🇨🇦
I was very against all of it from the beginning.
The mask you see in this video I sewed myself for my kids out of the thinnest material I could find, but it killed me seeing them being made to wear it.

Hi, I'm so happy to hear that that you enjoyed it!
My apron is from Amazon, I love it too. I searched long and hard for a cotton linen one in this cross-back/pinafore style, and I was thrilled when I found this one which was only $20. Here's the link if you are interested! I also put it in the video description.
