Your food looks absolutely delicious: I too follow Sonya’s Prep, Jar of Fireflies, FrumitUp and Jew Got It and as a non Jewish woman, I find all of you to be such positive and strong women. You’re all beautiful and I love learning about your religion. I’m glad I found your channel as well. Much love ❤️
I’m with her. The food looks amazing! I found your channel just today. B”H 🌷❤️ I’m here to stay! Much blessings to you and Hashem continue blessings you and your family 😘🌷
Growing garlic is easy. You will need to plant the garlic in the fall, but before October 15th. Cover it with old hay, grass clippings, or other mulch. It will winter over and start growing in the spring, so it will need to be able to push its tender shoots up through the mulch. Water it as needed. It will be ready to harvest sometime in July. It will store well if you have a cool, dry place in your home. We grow all our own organic garlic and onions. It is fun to grow and does not take a lot of work. Shalom ❤️
I must say, I just came across your channel. I am so impressed with all of your prepping and cooking. Wow you did everything by yourself. And you have little children. God bless you, I hope your husband is proud of you.
I’m a convert from atheist to catholic (married a catholic man) love seeing how other family prepares for the important spiritual days💜 will follow you blessings to you and your beautiful family💕
I just love seeing how you prepare for Shabbat...and I think you are a good Mommy! And I also enjoy Sonya's Prep channel, as well as Jar of Fireflies and Frumitup...
I love when the little ones are at the cutting board asking for handout of fruits and veggies. It also makes me nervous but I am very careful. I bet that pomegranate didn't make it far that week! Lol... Also my 2 yr old said you look like a pretty princess.
Shabbat shalom! Your voice and demeanor are so peaceful and calming, even though you are working so hard to care for your children and prepare tons of food. You make it all look so easy :)
I have just found your channel today and am so intrigued by Shabbat and your preparations for your food so I will be showing my sister your channel thank you so much.
Hi Michal, thank you for your comment, that is so interesting! You live in Israel! I love Israel. It is our dream to move back there in the next couple of years. 😊 I am so happy to hear that you enjoy my videos! 💕
Im not sure how your channel came up on my feed, but you are a pleasure to watch, very relaxing. Im a transplant living in Pennsylvania. Its nice to see familiar labels and such. I also watch Sonya, she's lovely. Chag Sameach and a Good Shabbos to you!
Hi Jayelle I just found your channel on my explore page. I am enjoying your video and your daughter is so cute with the berries lol. I’m Jeanine I’m from Brooklyn I also do homemaking videos. I love how you share your routine. Have a great week!
Hi Akilah, thanks for your comment! I don't actually follow a recipe for many of these dishes, but I will soon update the video description with more info and links to the recipes that I use . :)
I love your style of videos! Reminds me of themodestbohemian (another TH-camr who is a Filipino Jewish convert, who unfortunately stopped doing TH-cam, no idea why), I love that you add small, but interesting details like adding English translations to Hebrew words! Great video, and I look forward to seeing more of yours! :)
I have been catching up on your videos that I haven't seen yet. I particularly enjoyed this one. Aviva is so smart and a great helper. Since you probably didn't grow up eating middle eastern foods I was wondering if your mother- in- law shared her recipes with you or whether you relied on cookbooks. I had to laugh when you said you regularly check your oven for toys before turning it on.😊 It is so interesting to me that you grew up without running water or electricity and I would love to know more about that experience.
Hi Rona, so glad you enjoyed it! I definitely did not grow up eating middle-eastern food, but I am a huge fan of Mediterranean style/Middle Eastern food now since meeting my husband and traveling to Israel several times. I did get some recipes from my MIL, but I also love to read cookbooks and recipe blogs. ☺️ It's true I grew up in a non-traditional way, I hope to do another Q & A video soon and focus on topics like that. 😊💕
Just found your channel. I love how relaxing your vlog was and chilling background music. I'm vegan and you have given me inspiration for some new salad ideas with all your salad prep 🥗. Could you possibly link or list exact ingredients for your balsamic dressing. it's great watching how other people live (I'm in the UK) and seeing how you do things differently in your culture/religion. My favourite thing was how independent Aviva is, its heartwarming ❤️
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Here’s a link to a good recipe. www.aspicyperspective.com/best-balsamic-vinaigrette/ I do add more oil and then I use an immersion blender to emulsify it. Also I use honey/maple syrup interchangeably. Hope this helps!
@@jayellealafi5797 That's great. Thanks so much. Happy Celebrations 🎉. Enjoy all your lovely food. It's Easter weekend here in the 🇬🇧, but I don't celebrate it.

Just also wanted to add as I have a friend who is also going down the vegan path , Plus due to my health I slipped into veganism for a time and it can affect you. Woman have lost their periods brain damage b12 deficiency……just a warning I wouldn’t want to see anything happen to you. I can’t not say anything. I felt weak constantly being vegan as I have a very sensitive stomach so I have tried numerous diets and veganism can get ugly, just a heads up……there is a TH-cam channel called Vegan deterioration and she list a set of videos called vegan symptoms…..in her playlist.

So good to see you and your family! I just love your 3 girls and little guy! God is good! Be blessed my friend.
Thank you so much, you're so kind! 🤗🥰
You could peel the pomegrenate in a large bowl with water. The seeds sink right down while the skins stay afloat. Makes it much easier !

Thanks for the information. Hope you had a wonderful Shabbat
does it mean you eat all food cold during shabat? because you prepare it before and later you cannot warm it up?
We do not eat cold food only, we are permitted to reheat previously-cooked solid food in a certain way that does not violate Shabbat.

Thank you for your comment, I'm definitely not vegan. I eat fish 3x a week and eggs too. :) I agree, vegan is too extreme and can be dangerous.
