I personally will go for a standalone solar panel charger then get a more reliable battery bank. It's a bit more hassle but since they're both standalone, if one breaks, I can just replace either.
I got the 5 panel image 😎 I have had others like 4 patriots I thought those were nice this has to be the best solar power bank ever nice product little pricey but u know what they say you get what you pay for worth every nickel
Side note about these power banks and this step is extremely important and must be done, regardless, reference to the person that can not get past 2 bars .before solar charging you must fully charge with wall USB then here is the most important thing that must be done you use it drain it down to 25% then plug back in the wall takes 8 hours or so fully charging again once charged use it again this time drain all the way to ruffly 10% again charging fully in wall this being the 3rd time fully charged again qnd for the last time you use it all the way drain it. Plug it in charging fully again and your ready to go it amazing how long it last I charged my laptop 2 phone a tablet and had 35 40 % left the instructions tell you do do what I explained but its proven that 96% won't do it hope this helps
Wasn't getting a green light at all, charge it to 80% first in the wall and now I got a green charge light so seems all good to go. I guess some of the internals need electricity in order for the panels to work. @@dreamjustforamoment9749
Blavor used to have one almost identical. It's 20,000mAh, detachable solar, wireless charging, with a flashlight. I bought two, but they don't sell them anymore. Hopefully this one is a good replacement.
The best! They are so much stronger thang others I’ve tried. Easily the best I’ve found so far for the price! Better buy more than one, lol, I tend to use 3 or more at once!
It takes about 48 hours to fully charge if only using solar. But off one charge you can get 7-8 full charges on a iPhone. I carry 3 with me in the field and leave 2 out charging and use one to cycle through charging my phone, a tablet and GoPro batteries! If you cycle them and recharge the others during the day… you can go a week easy! That’s what we have done for the last couple years on 7 day elk hunts in the backcountry. Hope this answers your question. It is much faster if you plus it into a wall! Haha
i have never had any issues leaving it outside directly in the sun. As far as cars: I have left it in my car on sunny days during the fall - spring, but not so much in the extreme heat of the summer. Hotter days I would not leave anything in the car because it usually will exceed the operational temps from manufacturer. That goes for tons of electronics.
I generally keep my phone off. I use the batteries for lights and gps watch. Your phones lication works off satellite not cell service. It worked for ke on a naval vessel way in the persian gulf or working for trident seafoods. You touch the location and hold on the map and it gives you lat and long in decimal or you can download an app for utm. The phone gos isnt as good as dedicated gps with signal strength so i generally dont take it to keep it on
I just got one from amazon almost about the same 26000mah but it wont fully charge more then 2 bars now i barley got it 2 days ago but its still charging my phone somehow off one battery bar so bizzare tho cant tell how much juice is in this thing might take it back
Nice video, now how intense would the sun have to be in order to get a charge? what temperature? is it just light(sometimes it's just cloud and no sun) or it has to be the sun sun?
Hey thanks! It does not have to be super sunny out. It will charge in the shade. Temp does not matter, just the rays of light. It will charge in the shade, and on cloudy days. But if it’s nearly dark out, solar won’t work. Again, this will work on semi-cloudy days! I am making a follow up video that answers your questions as well as charge time and charge ability! I would suggest subscribing my channel to make sure you don’t miss it when I drop the follow up video!
I now own 4! I think they are great. Some people claim to have issues but I have not had any. They are a little heavy, but only using one in my pack and the rest I carry in a tote or waterproof bag somewhere as I’m going into and out the field, it’s perfect.
That I don’t know… I would only assume so. They do take a day or so to fully charge indirect sunlight…. So what I tend to do is use a wall cord to fully charged them before I head out and then rotate/cycle usage on them as I leave the others out to charge… since I can charge my phone or GoPro for camera batteries multiple times off of one full charge. I usually never drain them all the way down. This makes it a lot quicker and easier to rotate through the battery and chargers as I leave them out in the sun during the day.
This would NOT work long in a real Hot jungle or hot Desert Sun ... You NEVER want your battery pack in the direct sun... You have to shield the battery from the direct heat of the Sun.
I didn't see the follow up video you mentioned in the comments. Just wondering how long it takes to recharge and can it recharge while charging a device at the same time?
It can recharge while charging a device. How long to charge depends on the intensity of the sun light. If it is in direct sunlight sooner. It does take a while to charge, but it stores up a lot! I can get 7-8 charges on my iPhone from one entire battery and usual 3-4 on my tablet. I leave two of them it sitting out the entire day while I’m out in the field and can recharge my GoPros and phones when I get back during the night… I think it’s a great option for carrying less into the field. It will recharge faster if it is plugged into a wall outlet. FYI.
@@nycbike73 they are heavier than other options, but they hold so much more in the battery pack, it’s worth buying two or three if you are going to charge 2-3 devices, a table or two, 2-3 GoPros and batteries.
I wonder what will happen when the power bank shown here is fried in the hot rays of the summer sun? Will there be a fire and burn your tent or other equipment?
I’ve used it while camping this past summer in the Texas panhandle 110*F. Spent 4 days out on the lake fishing and camping the shoreline! Never had any issues!
The packs had a full charge from the start. The first night I charged 3 GoPro batteries and my phone. The next morning I laid out the chargers in the sunlight and went out fishing. In the evenings I charged the batteries and my phone again. The chargers got put in sunlight every day and pretty much all day. I repeated this cycle for 4 days until my trip was over. They didn’t get drawn all the way to zero, so it did a pretty good job of recharging to full power. These did great.
I charge my phone with it 3-4 days a week with it. I carry and use 3 of them in my back and in my camping it. It’s great for phones, iPads and other small electronics.
You know, that’s a great question! I’ll have to use one of them down to nothing then place it out and check on it every 30 min just to see! Get me a few days and I’ll get you an answer in a short!
@@frankyvera7078 Hey!!! We have been having high winds and fires in our area on and off for a couple weeks so I haven’t had time to post the video… BUT If you use 2A wall charger, it will take 12-15 hrs to be fully charged from a low charge level.
