Hmmmm if you charge it at night and use it on your drives yes. If you plan to leave it in the car in hopes it would recharge itself daily, no. This won't do that. You would charge this every few days and bring it with you, but you run the risk of forgetting it, but if you are good NOT forgetting it a powerbank like this would def work for you.

Cellular, Wifi and Bluetooth would be off and phone would be in low power mode. Just wondering how this will meet those needs. Thanks for the video

I want it for the wireless charging I want to keep it in my toolbox at work and keep my phone charged all week and take it home to recharge over the weekends not really interested in the solar part but if i go kayak fishing im sure ill bring it along
Hey! This is perfect IMO. The idea here is what I try to explain, solar is a last resort backup, so for your uses I think you are nailing it on the head. Get a solid power bank that can do what you are wanting through the week and charge it at home. The nice thing about something like this is if something catastrophic happens and you are without power, you have the potential to not have a dead phone.
Hey man, thank you for the review. I'm looking for a Solar charging Battery Bank to connect my GoPro 9 to while hunting. Something that will keep it's self and my Gopro topped off all day. I have spare batteries but each battery only lasts 1.5 hours I need something to keep one going all day or recharge multiple during a sit period glassing. Thoughts?
I think I threw away my manual so now I can't figure out which of the ports I am supposed to use to charge the power bank itself. I thought I had it charging, but then when I went to use it it ran out of power on me. Was I supposed to use the blue micro USB port or the black one? Thank you.
Wouldn't it be a awesome idea to have solar charging built into smartphones? Every time you go out it charges even if it's cloudy. A fast solar charging smartphone plus usb charging too. It will probably come one day!
I have one from Amazon that is 25,000mah battery with an additional magnetic clipable 4 * 350mah pv cells And everything else you mentioned part # KR-T07
what would be the best bank for a nintendo switch? I work for the railroad, and spend hours out in the middle of nowhere, and kill my switch in a few hours. Which would you recommend?
Hmmmm this one would be a good size but if you want to rely on the solar panel to charge this isn't what it's really meant for. When you are sitting like this where are you? Does the powerbank size matter a lot?
Does it ever shut off? I always see the lights blinking. I want it to shut off so that it is not empty when I need it. I use the power button and it activates the flashlight.
Hey! Which light is it? If its the battery light (blue) blinking and its day time or the lights are on, its telling you that the solar panel is getting enough light to charge the device
Is this still the best one out now? Is there an expected timeline to where they will malfunction? Want to buy one for everyday, camping and emergency preparedness.
I live in the Teesside area of England and all's I want to know is how long does it take to charge my phone a galaxy a20 e if it takes a week like some comments are saying there's no point in getting one
It'll charge your phone in just over an hour or so from dead to full. The comments people are making about that are how long the powerbank charges only using the sun
What I'm looking for is a power bank for my bugout/survival pack. One that is capable of charging not only phones, etc. I've a 1W/3W 450nm handheld (blue) laser and a 532nm green laser for emergency signaling and firestarter. A solar power bank with an output of 5V/3A is needed. Any recommendations, sir?
@@JDubb just to recharge the handheld laser. Not for continuous operation, Because of heat buildup its 60sec on max., 60sec off to cool down minimum. Intermittent use, for fire starting, emergency signaling (S.O.S) flashing on high setting, varmint deterrent on low setting. I think the solar power bank can do it. One should never totally deplete a rechargeable power supply. Again, your review is most helpful, more so than more than several I've viewed, thx.
*QUESTION* I'm very stupid and naive so I have many questions but I'll only ask one. Are these power banks disposable? I mean, do you get like a certain amount of charges from them (say 8 full phone charges) and then after that you throw them out? thanks
thank you so much for this review I almost bought the lit charger and I heard that they are terrible. I was at checkout and was about to get it for 60% off thinking it was worth it but then I decided to look up the reviews. And this I get for a little bit cheaperand has everything that I would want on it and it seems to work so much better than the lit brand. I've heard that anything posted on things like Instagram and Facebook are a scam but it looks like TH-cam is following close behind those social platforms as well. So glad I didn't buy but I will be purchasing this one. I'm also glad that I can buy another protection plan on top of the one already comes with. Only 12 bucks and it's protected for another year
JDubb Yup also what’s amazing is how an electronics company actually made a power bank like that back in the early to mid 90s that was a 3rd party GameBoy accessory so you could power your GameBoy while camping! So apparently solar battery power banks have technically existed for over twenty years now because of that GameBoy accessory! :)
Great review, I’m getting a power bank mostly for disaster preparedness. I have ham radio for that purpose, but that radio doesn’t do me much good if I can’t keep it charged.
I have this but sometimes it kinds "blinks" while charging making my iPhone charge then stop then charge then stop etc. what am I doing wrong??? Also do I need to push the button for it to charge because the light turns on when I do that. Maybe I'm just supposed to plug it in and that's it. Help please.
By chance, being this video is 1yr old, have you heard of the 4patriots solar dock and if so, what would your recommendation be? Blavor or 4patriots? Thing is, I'm trying to be prepared for Florida's crazy weather and Samsung done the most dumbest thing ever... My son bought me a galaxy 10 S + for Christmas, the charger and the headset has to share the 1 and only port instead of having individual ports. So, I imagine the stress/wear and tear that my poor phone is going through! Thank you in advance for your response!
I've heard of that brand but never tried it. I still had Blavor regularly and love them. In your case for extreme weather, I would recommend something with more solar power and pair it with a large power bank. While the power banks with solar on them are cool for true power needs like yours a dedicated panel is my recommendation. So get a Blavor powerbank to charge using something like this: amzn.to/3dq3BTU
Thanks for this review. Been preparing for hurricane season and I’ve been looking for other ways to charge my phone more aside from buying a bunch of individual portables. Then I came across this portable on amazon and your video helped me decide to buy it! So thanks! Question: how hot does it get while charging off of the solar panels? I’ve heard a lot of people complaining about their solar power portables actually exploding or catching on fire so I’m just kinda concerned.
I love how all the youtube videos they posted have comments turned off. Also they brag about 20,000 milli amps... aka 20 amps, why not just go further and say 20 trillion pico amps?
Nice review but I still don't know which solar panel I should use for my camera batteries. I'm going for more than one month in Himalaya with no other option to charge my camera's batteries.I have high capacity Li-ion batteries VHBI-3400mAh and maximum charge Voltage 8.4V
CLEARLY you know what you're talking about and it's a good video review but i would have liked to see some testing comparisons that backs up your opinion. it's only "the best" if it's primary function (charging!!) is superior to others on the market. low light charging comparisons, how long it holds a charge, etc. we have frequent power outages so i'm curious how long it holds a charge and some facts behind your opinion. perhaps the LED light would be handy but honestly i could care less about the compass.... which totally seems like a novelty. any hiker or camper has a real compass with them. Plus, FYI... your amazon Links are dead ends.
I plan to use this device for camping and emergency power source for cell phones and the laptop. The owner's manual does not go into detail of how to operate the device. Suggestion: It would be beneficial if you could produce a tutorial video on this device. Showing not just charging a cell phone but multiple cell phones at one time; charging a laptop or other devices. The Blavor LED indicator lights display when in use, charging or when it is fully charged. The do's and dont's when using the Blavor device.
Hey! Bro. Just a piece of advice. This applies to all reviews. Please before you give all the pros and cons of the product you are presenting please don't forget to give the complete name of the brand and its major details. The name of the product bro. and not the general term solar power bank.
Which one is better the solar Qi 5 panel solar or 18W solar portable charger? Because I’m looking for a 20,000 mh & will charger in sunlight less than 5 hours please let me know I’m very interested in getting one.
If solar charging is one of your main focus is how to say go with the five panel charger that I reviewed. If you're looking for one that has the most features, and this one would be the one I would recommend. None of the others that I have reviewed are going to charge as fast via solar as a five panel power bank

Wouldn't it be a awesome idea to have solar charging built into smartphones? Every time you go out it charges even if it's cloudy. A fast solar charging smartphone plus usb charging too. It will probably come one day!
Tesla is coming with on
1000th comment 🙃 Great video by the way, just bought it 😊
Right on! Thanks for the support
Definitely looking at some solar chargers again. I go back and forth I've been procrastinating LOL
Do you have a 'kilponen Solar Power Bank, 26800mAh' and if so, how do you think it compares to this one?
Never tried it sorry
@@JDubb no problem
I have one from Amazon that is 25,000mah battery with an additional magnetic clipable 4 * 350mah pv cells
And everything else you mentioned
part # KR-T07
what would be the best bank for a nintendo switch?
@@JDubb Thanks for the quick response. All of the lights are on and there is one light that keeps blinking. I am saving it for emergencies.
Is this still the best one out now? Is there an expected timeline to where they will malfunction? Want to buy one for everyday, camping and emergency preparedness.
Still the best I'm not sure. I still love and use it all the time
I live in the Teesside area of England and all's I want to know is how long does it take to charge my phone a galaxy a20 e if it takes a week like some comments are saying there's no point in getting one
It'll charge your phone in just over an hour or so from dead to full. The comments people are making about that are how long the powerbank charges only using the sun
JDubb what he means is how long does it take to charge the power bank using only the sun
Hmm that's a tough one, I think it could power it but not sure how long
@@JDubb just to recharge the handheld laser.
Just paid $37 for one from Amazon with a coupon they were running. Good review.
Great deal!
My husband is looking at buying one from 4 Patriot , How do they compare?
I've hears great things about the Patriot products however I have not tested it directly

Thanks for the recommendation! Subscribed. Probably going to buy this through your affiliate link this evening.
Awesome thanks! I appreciate you checking out the channel
*QUESTION*
I'm very stupid and naive so I have many questions but I'll only ask one. Are these power banks disposable? I mean, do you get like a certain amount of charges from them (say 8 full phone charges) and then after that you throw them out? thanks
No the use lithium ion batteries like your phone. I have changed mine over a hundred times by this point and still use it fine.
thank you so much for this review I almost bought the lit charger and I heard that they are terrible. Only 12 bucks and it's protected for another year
👍👍
Perfect piece of kit to have while on a long term hiking trip in the wilderness! :)
It really is!
JDubb
Yup also what’s amazing is how an electronics company actually made a power bank like that back in the early to mid 90s that was a 3rd party GameBoy accessory so you could power your GameBoy while camping! So apparently solar battery power banks have technically existed for over twenty years now because of that GameBoy accessory! :)
Great review, I’m getting a power bank mostly for disaster preparedness. I have ham radio for that purpose, but that radio doesn’t do me much good if I can’t keep it charged.
👍
I have this but sometimes it kinds "blinks" while charging making my iPhone charge then stop then charge then stop etc. what am I doing wrong??? Also do I need to push the button for it to charge because the light turns on when I do that. Maybe I'm just supposed to plug it in and that's it. Help please.
I’m buying a 10000 mAh one off amazon from the same company. Can’t wait till I get it.
Enjoy! 😁
@@JDubb Thank you love. I'm on it right now!
Clear, concise, and right to the point. Great video! Going to check one out for my go bag. Thanks.
🙏 thanks for watching!!
I’m looking for one what did you it was called
what if u conect two or more of these one charging the other. would u get more power?
No, all chargers lose power because of heat so you won't be getting ahead here
I just ordered the 10,000 ang what does qi mean
I bought the last Blavor you did a review on and I'm about to buy this one as well. Thanks for the review.
Right on!! This one is amazing
Thank you so much for making this video!!! Very helpful!
Also, what's your opinion on the BLAVOR Solar Charger Five Panels Detachable,
NVM haha, just found your video on it!
Glad it was helpful!
I always make sure to put it in indirect sun so it doesn't overheat
Can we chage the backup without sunlight as well?
Yes, the main charging is with the cable that it comes with. Much faster and for daily use. Solar is only a backup source
@@JDubb Ok thank you so much
I love how all the youtube videos they posted have comments turned off. Also they brag about 20,000 milli amps... aka 20 amps, why not just go further and say 20 trillion pico amps?
Batteries and banks in handheld sector are rated in mah. RC, phones, etc
Allanfred Redido you could check out the description
Which one is better the solar Qi 5 panel solar or 18W solar portable charger? Because I’m looking for a 20,000 mh & will charger in sunlight less than 5 hours please let me know I’m very interested in getting one.
If solar charging is one of your main focus is how to say go with the five panel charger that I reviewed. If you're looking for one that has the most features, and this one would be the one I would recommend. None of the others that I have reviewed are going to charge as fast via solar as a five panel power bank
"Sooooo excited"
Jfc, save that promotion review
I wish I got paid for my reviews!
But in this instance I was genuinely excited. I loved Blavor products and was pretty stoked to get the latest one.
I'll be using for hiking . I charge my JBL go3 with it
