- Just a quick review of this 6 piece Laguna End Cap Oil Filter Wrench Set from Harbor Freight. Obviously not too much to say about such a simple tool but I figured I'd point out some of the reasons I like them and give my recommendation for this set.

Have you had pretty good luck with them? No deformation or welds popping loose? Just got mine and can't wait to get that access if you got a hidden oil filter. Wish i had these on that day for my classic Nissan. I could get the tips of 3 fingers on the end of the filter only. Wow. You got a power-troll. 😂 He definitely said his piece. (POS)😅 sadly these are on clearance. I wonder what they are planning. Im lucky i got the last pack.
Yeah, these are all I use anymore for all 3 of my vehicles and I've had no issues whatsoever. I feel like these have been on clearance for years though, even since I bought mine so Idk what their plan is. Pretty sure I've seen a way more expensive set by Maddox that they have now, so maybe that's what their transitioning to.
@@mcmoto5424 when I changed that filter, it looked like a mad ox got his hooves on it. I was thinking I was lucky I didn't have to remove the alternator and oil pump. Extra large slip joint pliers saved the day. Had to sneak in right on the top of the filter and it was doing all kinds of damage. Wires in the way. Hahahaha.
Appreciate the review I wanted to get these
too much rambling on, get to the point/facts!
second of all, looking at the socket in use, i would not let you install a filter on any of my vehicles as you install too tight. this can lead to a seized filter and a bear to remove. i have seen filters seized so badly, you have to drive a tool through the filter can and then nearly cut it in two trying to get it to turn.
Been installing oil filters for 15 years. Never once had one seized. Your opinion means nothing to me. Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about. It's not even possible for you to tell how much torque I put on it. You sound like someone who just googled his way through his first oil change ever and now thinks they're a master mechanic.
@@mcmoto5424 lol! Tell ‘em! Subscribed! 💯
boohoo
still toooooo much rambling on. hummmmm 12>18 leverage and you struggle to get it to turn. read the box, hand tighten only. i ran this by at least a dozen people and all concur. just because you can shoot a video and have the smarts to upload does not make an expert. i am not ???? your ability but at least you could add a disclaimer and warn against over torque which is clearly evident here. all that said, just because you drop a wrench here and there and never hit your foot, does not add to the fact it can never happen. nuff said done deal adios
toooooo many totally non usable videos, if you clean them out probably free up tons of server space!!!!!!!
Aww, so sad to see you go. I love ignorant, know-nothing trolls like yourself. They're the best form of entertainment on here. But you and your 12 friends must all still be idiots if you think you can identify a torque value by watching a video. Thanks for the exposure though. I'm glad my content is worth so much of your time and effort. I must be doing something right.
