Fluke is the best! They really know how to create circuitry that is efficient and accurate. They aren't cheap, but they can last a long time. Have you ever calibrated your meters? And I was wondering, I have a t5-600 and was wondering if I could take measurement with it on a 600V panel (Canada), because the voltage can vary between 570V to 630V
No I haven’t self calibrated any of my meters , I know I could do it if I was shown how. Also check the category rating or voltage rating of your meter and I wouldn’t recommend you measure anything beyond or close to the maximum rating. Be careful, take care.👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Nice video!!! This clamp imo is not over kill! Many technicians believe the fluke 87v is over kill. Your paying for a precision, reliable and accuracy. Now for my work hvacr commercial and light industrial my fluke clamp I use is the 365, designed for tight spaces. Great videos as always my friend. I have alot to catch up on.
Thanks TW, I do understand enjoy your life and family. The Fluke 365 Clamp Meter is really slick, when you mentioned it I had to go google a photo of it. That’s a great clamp meter to use for tight spaces it looks like a full featured clamp meter. Great choice TW, VERY SMART. I’m glad we agree that the Fluke 376 is an elite tester. I really don’t know of any other clamp meter that’ll come close to it pound for pound except the Amprobe 54NAV Clamp Meter.
@@TheElectriciansToolChannel I agree again with the Amprobe Navigation 54 is the only other that can hang with the fluke 376 and even then I'm giving the edge to the 376. The small jaws gives accurate readings down to a 1 tenth of an amp. Again 376 is king of the clamp meters.
Love the video. Keep them coming. Quick question have you observe when powering on the fluke 376 blinks the lcd back light briefly? Mine always do that. Is it normal..

I think they make good meter (fluke )but I wish they would put a magnet on the back their miter. I have a klein cl 200 been trying to upgrade to a fluke but I got so used to the magnet feature its hard. Thank you for sharing
A magnet 🧲 on back of the Fluke Clamp Meter would be 👍🏿👍🏿. So I use the velcro strap with the magnet place the strap between the clamps of the meter and it works for me.
Hello. Would you recommend the Klein cl900 for a teen starting out (Mechanical Technician--Elevating Devices) or would it only be the Fluke 376? There is a $300 difference in price here. Thanks.
I know from experience that if you purchase the Fluke 376 Clamp Meter and you use it correctly and take care of it, it maybe the last clamp meter you’ll purchase for the next 20 years guaranteed. I can’t speak for the Klein Clamp Meter, I recommend the Fluke 376 against any clamp meter on the market today 💪.
I've been thinking about this, and going with a torque rachet, and a screwdriver socket is alot cheaper then a Torque Screwdriver, AND it gets you torque specs on your Allen connections.
@@TheElectriciansToolChannel it is pitsbregh, yes it is harbor freight However! It is certified to be accurate aswell as I tested it myself for accuracy and if it ever breaks lifetime warranty and accomplished the job just the same as my Whera, but isn't 241 dollars.

A question about the Fluke 378 FC. In the case of substations, where there are three or more conductors per phase. Was the flexible clamp able to measure the current of parallel cables per phase?
