@@ShikiPirsi wouldn’t say it’s a spin off, but FaF is the prequel series and apparently a lottt of stuff is referenced in later FBAA books (i’m only on book 2 rn) that you might not fully grasp if you haven’t read the prequel, and the stories could end up coming together in the end. i only got this info from a vid i saw of a suggested reading order, ofc you could read FBAA without the prequel series if you wanted to :) i’m the kind of person who enjoys a big series like this and getting as much detail as possible so i’m def gonna read both of them
