Im so happy you are genuine in your jar picks! Im honestly tired of seeing creators who pull what seems to be all great picks and dont show the raw truth of the jar being FULLY RANDOM!!! it definitely makes me feel seen for when i pull out of my tbr jar and am lowkey disappointed 🤣 so thank you queen!!
A Study in Drowning was my first read of this year, I am surprised at how much I loved it! A little predictable but I enjoyed the ride! Currently reading Beartown. It’s so different from my usual reads but I’m eating it up!
I loved Beartown and was hoping it was picked for you. I’m going to be reading the second book soon, but I had to take a break. It’s heavy but soooo good.
Currently reading Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan and Lightlark by Alex Aster (yes I know Lightlark got mixed reviews but you always got to try out the book yourself and see if you like it, especially if you found the backblurb of that book to be fun!)
such a great video and loved the twist. im usually a silent subbie, but i just joined booktube, so im trying to be a bit more active. happy new year! cant wait for the next video 🤭✨💕
Currently reading Six of Crows my January TBR is to continue my journey of finishing the cosmere so I have The Secret History novella, The Lost Metal, and Oathbringer as well as finishing off the six of Crows Duology with Crooked Kingdom. We'll see how far I get! 😂
I’m currently reading station eleven and it’s so different - enjoying it so far! And actually finished belladonna this month so hoping to get onto foxglove too!
My January tbr is The last letter, the broken kingdoms book 6, sword of kaigen, manacled, the book of doors, daughter of no worlds and master of salt and bones.
I want to read A Banh Mi for Two, Before We Disappear, The Half King, Midnights With You, and I’m currently starting All The Young Dudes 😊 love how you did a poll this time!
In January I have Out of the Gate by Elsie Silver (completed), Dark Age by Pierce Brown (completed), Towers of Midnight by Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson
I’m going to read Babel and Beach Read this month. I heard Beach Read isn’t super beachy and the FMC is named January… it feels right 😂 also, Onyx Storm!! Which also has dragons and a black cover 👀
Like.... My TBR is so insane for my usual rythm this month. I have Dune, The Isle of Doctor Moureau (i finished already!), The Daughter of Doctor Moureau (First Silvia Gargia Moreno), Circe (Madeline Miller, my first too and im halfway), Heartless Hunter, The Blue Sister, A fragile enchantment, Mistborn. The will of Many. Yes. I'm insane. Im quite aware. Thank you for the video, Jaime!
My 2, top priority books for Jan (not my full TBR) are The Invisible Life of Addie Larue (may have spelt that wrong) and Fourth Wing (my mom took my copies of fourth wing and iron flame and just returned them so I'm a bit behind)
Yay TBR jar and tea 🫖 I set my reading goal as 100 books this year so hope I can make it! I hit 85 last year and at least I don’t have a wedding to plan this year 😂 January TBR: - All the Colors of the Dark (read) - Once Upon A Broken Heart (read) - The Ballad of Never After (read) - A Curse for True Love (currently reading) - Intermezzo - Onyx Storm (+ Fourth Wing and Iron Flame re-reads!) - Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring - The Three Lives of Cate Kay (my first BOTM!) Whew that’s a lot 😮💨
(noone asked me but) i've only read the first book and i wasn't into it but i've heard many others that liked it a lot! maybe try with a library book first, see if you'll like it?
it's a very basic YA dystopian series imo. the first 3 are worth the read if you know what you're in for, but after that the series falls apart and gets super convoluted and messy.
in my tbr this month I have the last Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, (I actually have finished it today, it's so amazing!!!! the whole trilogy is an absolute masterpiece, but anyways), Tom Lake by Ann Patchett, A Psalm for the Wild-Built, by Becky Chambers, The God of Small Things, by Arundhati Roy and Voladoras, by Monica Ojeda! was looking for fun, lighthearted and summer vibes (cause down here it's summer) but I think I got the wrong ones hahaha
The only book I remember voting was foxglove 😂, because that's the only one I was able to guess😂. Rest were all random selects 😂. I am will be reading Yumi and the nightmare painter as my next read.😊 😊
Honestly from something I was spoiled about a book I did laugh when you said something 🤣🤣 I won’t say what 🤫 Also I did love a study in drowning and if you want the BEST weather to read it is when there is a big big storm trust me I read it in hot summer and I wished I read it during a storm instead it would have been perfect
Is it bad that I voted on the IG stories and forgot which ones I voted for? 😂 I’m not sure what is on my tbr this month since I’m still busy finishing some of the last one, I just will see what I’m in the mood for 😅
Please don’t think that shadow and bone wil be enemies to lovers. I won’t and will never be. Like the series but if it was enemies to lovers, it would’ve been so much more fun.
ln 2025 I highly recommend everyone to read Your Life Your Game by Keezano. It beautifully shows how connecting with God and building meaningful relationships can lead to spiritual growth and success in both your personal and professional life. This book truly changed my life..a must-read🥰😍
