- Just something simple for people to put on their MySpaces, etc. This is the version from the old VHS tape of Pulse (which IMHO had much better camera angles than the new DVD). The beginning and one verse from the middle (at 6:13) had to be edited out to fit it into TH-cam's 10 min. requirement. But the whole movie they showed at the concert is here since it's probably supposed to represent Syd's life (or anybody's)....
This is from Earl's Court, London in October of 1994.
This version from this VHS tape shows a lot more of the concept film on the screen than the DVD version (also on TH-cam).

I know Dave Gilmour is primarily recognized as a guitarist, but what a voice, what a voice!
His voice is normally not the best thing about them but here his voice simply sounds great!

What are you talking about? He is far below average singer. And his voice was nothing, nothing at all compared to Syd’s. Syd was the only member of Pink Floyd who could actually sing a tune. Dave and Roger couldn’t hold a candle to him.

43 yrs later and the music is just as good as perfect as the first time I heard it. There has never been another band like Floyd, The music is soul wrenching.
Perhaps the finest preforming band in my lifetime,and brothers and sisters I seen and heard tons of them.

days just after the Military and the transition that I made going back to College to do Graduate Studies.The Pink Floyd was with me then, as I needed something to help me mellow out while studying and also trying to forget the things I saw as a Corpsman and Oper Rm. Tech. during the Viet Nam War.Things no one should have to see.The Pink Floyd DID ...help me to get through these times.
AMAZING PERFORMANCE! I am never shy to tell people that Pink Floyd is my favorite band. I love The Beatles, Zeppelin, Stones, Who and Doors but, to me Pink Floyd is the most unique band ever. I even vote that Roger Waters is the top 5 best song writers of all time.
You had me kramer135 till you made the reference to Roger Waters at the end. Rodger is a self serving JACKASS, top 5 greatest writer's..... Hardly. He is good, and at times creative when his ego doesn't get in the way. The Wall, and Dark side of the Moon are excellent examples. Syd Barrett for whom this tribute was made was the most talented writer Floyd had at the beginning and had he stayed on course who knows what would have happened. Roger is good, but no where near a #5 seed.

I named my beloved Jackbee hound "Diamond"...!!! Pink Floyd posters and memorabilia grace my rec-room walls!!!...RIP Syd, you will not be forgotten!!!!...Keep shining!!!

"Mother did it need to be so high" Rodger Waters was touring last year doing "The Wall". Best concert I've ever been to. Rodger crying afterthe concert as he said farewell was a moment you willnever forget. I could never ever get tired of Floyd. All I can sayis BRILLIANT.

Arnold Layne - See Emily Play to name a few from back in the day - Syd Barrett amazingly - David Gilmore in his interview said though that literally he saw one day that his eyes were simply dead - said it was one of the most frightening things he had ever seen and Syd Barrett never came back. It is terribly sad.
He went too far down the rabbithole sadly, its also speculated he developed schizophrenia.
